So, I am just now seeing that this toner won an Influenster award last year. I had purchased it blindly off Sephora, and yeah --- I will say it is 100% worthy of the award. The price didn't seem outrageous, and it does wonders prepping my skin for makeup each morning. I plan to repurchase this item again when it is finished. Very nice product all around.
I have heard so many amazing things about this brand + this product, so I finally bit the bullet and purchased it. Let me tell you --- it lived up to the hype. It gives a true "airbrush" finish. It doesn't leave you cakey or overly powdery. It quite simply is a magical powder for your face. Packaging is cute, but it does get messy with fingerprints. That being said --- who cares about that part?! The showstopper is the product, and it is well worth the cost. I will happily repurchase.
So --- I had intentions of buying a different PF Mascara when I got this one. I recently started watching Tati Westbrook, and she loves the PF mascara that is inside an all green tube. She talks about it so often that it made me want it. Lo and behold, I grabbed the wrong one, and I actually learned that she hates the one I picked up. I was instantly disappointed before trying it, but I kept it regardless. So --- I try it out, and the first time I did... I hated it. Well, I kept trying it more out of sheer laziness, and I have actually changed the name of my tune. It really is a nice mascara --- especially if used without a bold, thick eyeliner. It has a nice black color to define the eyes; it does not clump; and it gives nice length. It a little hard to wash off the face; however, I think that issue is more with my skincare than it is with this mascara. I don't know if I would repurchase it, but I will say that I have no regrets trying it once.
So, I really wanted to love this cleanser --- mainly because of the brand's reputation. After several uses, I have just flat out decided that it is not the cleanser for me. Pros? The bottle has a pump and cap --- which makes for good travel. The size of the bottle is pretty good, and it does not take up a ton of space in a travel bag. I also love the idea of the foam cleanser. Cons? It does not deep clean; it does not remove makeup. It might be meant to be a second step cleanser. If you want your makeup removed --- you need a cleansing wipe or oil to remove it. Then --- you might try this face wash. Personally? I don't like that extra step. I want something that will do both, and I have that product available to me at the drugstore. I would not recommend this product if you're someone who wears makeup regularly. It may be decent if used in the AM shower --- before applying makeup.
So, I have two of these brushes. One of them I bought on my own, and the second one was purchased by my sweet husband, who was being very sweet to venture into makeup brush purchasing for my birthday present! I honestly love this brush, but it is not an every day tool I grab. I feel like most times I go for my beauty blender, but some of my foundations just don't work well with it (or some foundations soak up into my blender, wasting product). For those foundations, I use either this brush or my Morphe 439. That being said --- this one is smaller than my Morphe, and it is easier to apply to my face. If you are building your collection of Sigmas, get this one for sure!
I think that this product is definitely a great one, that is never really talked about by anyone in the online beauty community. I got it at Ulta recently while it was on sale for half the price, and boy am I glad I did! There are multiple shades in this product, so beware while buying. I use this product at the end of my make up routine, lightly dusting it over my face with a brush. I found that it does help control my oil and really sets my make up well. After I use this product, obviously I still use a setting spray, but I think the powder would work well without spray if you aren't as oily as I am. All-in-all, I am very happy with this product, and I think it is well worth adding to your collection.
A few months ago, I felt like my lips were very wrinkled and dry. So, I went to Sephora, and I purchased three or four lip products to help my lips look better. This was one of them, and I honestly think that it was my favorite one. Yes, it is very expensive, but I feel like it actually helped my lips more than any of the other products. A little bit goes a long way with this product. I would put the tiniest dab on my finger and apply it to clean, dry lips. After letting it absorb, you can see a slight difference in your lips. I think if you were to use this daily, you would see noticeable results in the long run. You just have to be patient with it. It is definitely worth buying and trying if you are unhappy with the appearance of your dry, wrinkly lips. Random --- I like the way it smells.
I have been trying to treat my lips and add moisture to them for the last month or so. I purchased text including this one. I found it was very hydrating and nourishing for my lips. I would apply a very small amount, and it would go a long way. I think the first impression that I had was that the smell, which was very natural. My husband commented that it smelled like patchouli! When I wear this mask, I don't ever take it off, rather I just let it absorb into my lips, and then I apply lipstick/liquid lips on top. I don't know if I plan to buy it again, because it is expensive. That being said, it is a good product.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! This concealer is definitely one of the bests. I still think Urban Decay's Naked Concealer is my favorite, but this one is really nice as well. The applicator is massive for Tarte's shape tape, which is different in comparison to others. I feel like the coverage is full, and it is extremely blendable. It seems to be thicker than other formulas like the UD Naked, but you know...I really like it a lot. I cannot remember what shade I have, but I think it is light medium? I am interested to see how long the product will last. It seems like a bigger bottle, but something about it makes me feel it won't have as long as a shelf life than other brands. I'm not an expert in that arena, but it is just a hunch I have. Only time will tell. PS This product is an Ulta exclusive, so no Sephora.
I absolutely love this eyeliner! I have several drugstore brands that are comparable with the formula, but I don't think those versions can hold a candle to the brush applicator on this one. I have not used it alone, rather I use it on top of my Inglot liquid liner to help increase the color intensity. I think this eyeliner is 100% worth the repeat purchase, and I may even venture off into some other colors --- specifically a metallic color. It is definitely worth its cost. PS Packaging is really chic. Well done, UD!
