Review for: amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo 5.3 oz/ 153 g more...
I love this dry shampoo! It’s really effective without making my hair feel powdery or heavy. It helps to add volume and texture, and you don’t need too much product either. I also like the scent and think the bright packaging is super cute.

I never wear foundation because I hate how heavy it can feel and that it sometime looks cakey. This is so different!! It’s lightweight and looks very natural on the skin. It provides sheer, buildable coverage and wears all day. It’s definitely my new favorite - the only foundation I will wear!! The packaging is a glass bottle - very pretty - with a doe foot applicator. I like to apply with a beautyblender (even though it does suck up some of the product). My shade is LC1 which is perfect for my fair to light skin with yellow undertones. It’s not too cool, but it neutralizes my face.
This personalized aspect is amazing - this shade really did match my skin. I also love how the bottle has my name on it! The foundation is very dewy (unlike the BarePro which is very matte). It’s better for my dry skin, but I definitely used a powder to set it down. It was medium coverage and lasted all day.
I love this brow pencil. The shape is almost triangular and you can get a sharper line with the tip or fast filling with the chubby end. This color is a tiny bit warm, but I can make it work as I don’t filly entire brow - just some of the sparse areas. The spoolie is great and I like the cute packaging too.
I don’t like the brush on this - it’s the size of a mascara wand, so it’s too large for precise application. The formula is also very wet and almost goopy. The color was a good match for my brows though (dark, cool toned, brown) and it’s cheap.
This brow gel works, but it’s a little crunchy for my preference. I like the Urban Decay brow gel, Benefit Gimme Brow, and Palladio brow styler better as they hold my brows in place and still feel natural.
I love this brow pencil! It’s the first one I ever finished (check out my Empties video - Jeans and Gems on Youtube). It’s waxy enough that it stays on well, but it’s not greasy or too heavy, so it’s still easy to fill in. The tip is almost triangular and somewhat thick, so I think works better for fuller brows because it adds a decent amount of color at once and makes filling in your brows faster. The spoolie is great too. There is this inner section with a light powder to highlight the browbone, but I always found it dry and cakey (cool idea, but minus one star for performance). Shade 40 was a perfect match for my dark, cool toned, brown brows.
This is my favorite bronzer (along with Benefit Hoola which is matte). This one has some shimmer to it which is really pretty on the skin and not glittery. It blends really well too. The only reason it’s not five stars is because the shades are off. I’m pretty fair (generally the lightest or 2nd lightest shade of concealer) and I wear shade medium in this bronzer. It’s the perfect color for a subtle bronze, so I’d recommend going one shade darker or swatch these in store if you can.
