My dog has heart palpitations every time I pull the Vitality chews out of the cupboard. The pet store I shop at only sells the chicken and duck flavors and my dog loves both, but I can't vouch for the salmon or tilapia flavors.
My veterinarian advised me not to give my dog rawhide treats, so it's been over a year since I've bought these chews. However, I vividly remember the sticky, brown mess that was left on my light blue duvet the last time I gave one of these to my dog. My recommendation: pass. There are other products out there that are better for your pet and aren't nearly as messy.
I was told by my veterinarian that I shouldn't give my dog rawhide treats, and this was the alternative she suggested. It takes my dog forever to finish one of these bones off. It keeps her happily occupied when I'm busy doing school work, and for an added bonus it doesn't stain my furniture like some of the other treats she tried before I started buying Nylabones (unlike Purina Busy Rollhide treats).
