I've been using this off and on for years to help treat trouble pimples. I usually use it at night before bed after washing and toning my face. It helps shrink my pimples overnight. I sometimes switch it up with tea tree oil if I have a really big or stubborn pimple that won't go away.
This has been my go-to foaming cleanser for years. It's inexpensive and cleanses well. I use it when my skin has been behaving and normal. I like the scent and it helps with waking me up in the shower in the morning.
I use Garnier's miceller water to take most of my makeup off. I find I still have to wash again with something else to really get my face clean. But, it definitely helps with getting my eye makeup off. I follow with toner, which usually picks up more makeup. I like that this doesn't leave a sticky feeling on my face and leaves it feeling fresh.
I'm a fan of these shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath combos. I bought the Sugar Plum Fairy scent on sale after Christmas. It's a sweet smell but not too bad. I use it to wash my kids in the bath or to run a bubble bath for them. I'd definitely buy it again.
The Jane Iredale Pure & Simple Makeup Kit is great! I like the two shades of foundation included. Since, I've already developed some color this summer, I've been using the darker shade, but I'm sure once my tan fades, the lighter one will be good for me. It gives me a nice sheer to medium coverage, though I'm sure I could get more coverage if I use more of the foundation. I liked the color of the blush. Though, I used my own brush as opposed to the one included. The eye shadows are pretty pigmented. I liked the purple shade in my kit. The lipstick smelled really nice and was a nice neutral shade. Overall, the makeup kit gave me a natural, no makeup look. This would be great to bring along when I travel! If only it also included a mascara!
I love gummy candy! Swedish Fish are one of my favorites. My kids love them, too. I like the texture. It isn't too hard to chew and also isn't too soft. The flavor isn't overly sweet, either. And the fish shape is super cute!
I received this for free from Influenster as part of the Lancome VoxBox.
I'm in my late 30's and have definitely noticed changes in my skin. My skin isn't as smooth as it used to be and there are more dark spots. I was hopeful that the Visionnaire Crescendo would help my skin look and feel better.
The first few times using Phase 1, I did notice a little bit of stinging after I put it on. That dissipated as I continued using it. After using Phase 1, I noticed that my skin did look brighter and smoother. So, I was hopeful for more results after using Phase 2.
Phase 2 stung a lot more. It didn't help that the day I started Phase 2, I had also gotten my eyebrows threaded. It burned so much!! But, like Phase 1, after using Phase 2 for several days, it didn't burn that much anymore. Sadly, I didn't really notice any more changes in my skin. I even developed a pimple. Not sure if it's related, but I feel like I shouldn't have broken out!
So overall, mixed results. I did get some improvements, but for the price, I would've expected more.
I normally use a moisturizer with built in SPF protection, but usually they max out around SPF 30. I like that this offers SPF 50+ protection. The sunscreen was a lot thinner than other sunscreens I've used. But that helped make it easier to apply and blend into the skin. It absorbed quickly and I liked that it didn't smell like sunscreen. I'd definitely buy this again.
Lowe's is one of our go-to places for home improvement and gardening products. They have a great selection of products and their prices aren't bad. Plus, there's usually someone around to assist if I need any help.
I received this free from Influenster, as part of the Lancome VoxBox. I loved this lipstick! It was easy to apply and highly pigmented. Once applied, it didn't budge. It's lasted all day, but it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing lipstick. I love the matte finish and how quickly it dried. I definitely plan on picking up more colors!
