I like this dressing but nothing about it really makes me think it's better than the other alternatives out there. It's just pretty standard. Good though!

Review for Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner - 2 weeks, 6 days ago
This product smells so delicious. For some reason, this had less of an effect on my hair than just using straight up coconut oil as a hair mask. That was a little disheartening. I could tell a slight difference, but overall it really didn't do much for me. A trend I've noticed in reviews for this product is that it works very well for people with fine hair. I, on the other hand, have super thick hair. I also live in a high-humidity environment. This just wasn't potent enough for me, I guess.

Review for Flexi flexiA Neon Cord Retractable Dog Leash - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
I just bought my second one of these as I lost my first. These are great leashes. The retraction is smooth and I've never had a problem with it getting stuck. I've had one for about three years or so now. I love the neon color for when we are out at night or I have to find it in the dark (I also just straight up love neon). I have the largest size for my 60-65 lb dog. It works great. The only off thing is that the size of the dog greatly affects besides at the handle. It makes sense on some level, but the difference is really big. I'm cool with it. I honestly didn't notice until today when I bought a new one.

I love their nail polishes. The Riche Nail Color collection has kicked it up a notch because the colors really are super vibrant. I did have to do a couple of coats but I usually do anyways. It goes on easily and has staying power too. It never feels like I'm damaging my nails with this brand.

I don't have colored hair but my stylists have always told me to use products for people with colored hair because it helps my naturally coarse, dry, frizzy hair. This product really helps with that. I use it a few times a week. When I use to straighten my hair everyday, I was using it daily. It smells wonderful too!

This is one of the few curl defining/refining products that actually does anything to my curls. I have very curly hair. My curls are more loose but random bits kink up. This helps keep things uniform and that's something I can't live without.

This is a bit too flexible for my thick, curly, out of control hair. I need something with a bit more weight to it but I imagine it would be good for people who have finer/thinner hair. My friend with gorgeous waves uses this and it looks phenomenal on her. She has fine hair. Maybe it has something to do with waves vs. curls too. Smells good like all Herbal Essence products though!

This is probably my top go-to gel for drugstore brands. I have thick, curly, coarse, frizzy hair and I really need the extra weight that Pantene provides. I don't know how much it defines my curls, but it helps tame them and that's my main priority. This doesn't take too long to dry but I do find that I have to use a lot of it. I also have to use it in combination with gel, but that's typical for me unless I get high-end stuff.

I have thick, coarse, curly hair so I need all the quenching I can get. Oh, frizzy too. This conditioner does a pretty good job of taking the beast. It's my go-to when it's humid out. It helps keep my frizz and volume down which is something I desperately need. For people with things or fine hair this might be a bit heavy. For me, it does most of what I need it to do (and smells amazing while doing it) but the price is pretty high and there are some other cheaper conditioners that do the same. Bumble and Bumble has some amazing products well worth the price, but I'm not sure this is one of them...except when I'm dealing with way too much humidity.

I didn't get this particular kind of pod but since these are the only ones on here I'm going to stick my review here. I also can see no difference in the ingredients or claims. I got the Baby Sensitive Skin Unscented pods. The only thing they really say is that it's safe for babies clothes (I find most detergents are thought personally). What is nice is that even though they put "baby" in front of it, they didn't charge more which is something I find happens with a lot of products.

So I'm a big fan of subscription services because...well, I'm lazy, but I also just think it's really cool. Especially when the subscriptions are to things I would've never thought about subscribing to - like laundry detergents. I got the free sample with my Flourish VoxBox. My biggest complaint is about the overall packaging over the product.

For one, I had a hard time even getting into the box (this might be a personal thing as many things in the mail end up getting shredded by my impatient hands). There were ten pods in a plastic bag which isn't very convenient. It doesn't have a ziploc thing on it. It's just an open plastic bag. So I've just got them sitting on a shelf I conveniently have in my laundry nook. But it's probably not the smartest idea because it's a rough surface and the pods are very, very delicate. I (think I) understand why they're that way; it's eco-friendly and whatnot. But, you know, they came in a plastic bag. I'd rather have them in a recyclable paper bag and have them put some more plastic on the actual pods. But I'm not a scientist. I don't know if that's equivalently eco-friendly or not.

I also realize that they're doing a lot more than that to be eco-friendly. Compared to other eco-friendly laundry pods, these are really reasonably priced. They got my clothes clean, they smell clean without smelling like anything in particular, and they don't irritate my skin. I am really sensitive when it comes to detergents for some reason so that's pretty ace for me. I haven't noticed it irritating my son either. Although I don't notice a difference from the other product I use (All Free Clear Detergent) when it comes to being gentle with my son's clothes. They feel just the same as they always do (and they always feel fine). So I'm sure they're fine with babies' clothes but once again, I don't really see anything that sets the baby one apart from the other but I could be wrong.

I probably won't be getting this again just because of the cost. It's not that much more than the brand I use but Amazon Prime has ruined me when it comes to shipping costs. Maybe I'll change over in the future. But the durability of the pods, the packaging, and the costs are a little much for me right now. But we'll see how I feel when I'm done with all of my sample pods. I'll update if my feelings change!
