I can't work with this foundation at all. It won't blend well and it wears off entirely around the perimeter of my face after about 5-6 hours of wear (I need my foundation to last well for at least 8 hours). It's also not really full coverage, more of a light-medium, and I have very good skin. The shade range isn't very good, the lightest shade is a couple shades too dark for me and from what I can tell the shades don't go very deep either. It's very cakey as well no matter what I do.
This concealer in the shade White Out is so good for undereye brightening! I've always struggled to find an undereye concealer light enough to brighten because I'm very pale, and this one works great! If you're not super pale then the pure white shade is probably too light to use on its own, but if you're as light as me or lighter you'll love it. It blends well, lasts all day, and does a surprisingly good job of concealing dark circles for being just white. Unfortunately, it does crease on me a moderate amount. I have more fine lines under my eyes than most people my age, though, so all concealers crease at least a bit. If I set it with powder right away it helps a lot. It's also great to mix with a concealer that's too dark to lighten it.
It took me a while to finally buy one of these because I was told by somebody who knows my makeup preferences that I may find it too sticky. But I saw a MAC Duty Free store at the airport and I ended up getting one in the shade Lovechild. I love it! It is a bit sticky, but not to the point where it annoys me. It's just sticky enough to stay on and last a decent amount of time, but not sticky enough to be unpleasant. I keep it in my purse at all times because it's great to throw on if I'm out and about. The reason I'm not giving it all five stars is it doesn't last well through eating and drinking at all. I would still absolutely recommend trying this product out!
I wait all year for these! I always love the combination of chocolate and orange but nothing else compares to these. It's officially Christmas season for me when I see them at Rite Aid! The best place to get then is WalMart though, since they're the cheapest there.
I decided to get the Moonchild palette because it looked unique, as well as good for pale skin. The highlights are super pigmented and they reflect the color in the pan, but in a surprisingly wearable way. I use a fan brush to apply, and it goes on perfectly. Smooth, blendable, long-lasting, and unique. I often have trouble finding highlights that don't look too dark on me, but all of these look great (Lucky Clover is my favorite). I'm glad that they made it permanent because I can see myself using it up entirely, which almost never happens.
This setting spray is a summertime essential for me! It makes my makeup last at least 2 hours longer than it would otherwise, usually more. I even bought a backup, something I almost never do, because I never want to run out completely. It sets your makeup without changing the finish, which I really like because sometimes I want a matte finish and sometimes I want a dewy finish or something in between so I can always use this setting spray no matter what look I decide to go for that day. It also works really well to wet eyeshadows and make them more vibrant, and it's cheaper than MAC Fix+. Definitely give this a try, especially if you want an inexpensive setting spray option that actually does something.
I bought a couple packs of this to use as sticker paper because I wanted to make my own planner stickers. I prefer matte stickers and this is matte, so that's a plus. It was also only about $4.50 for 10 sheets at Walmart, which is kind of expensive for sticker paper, but not bad for what it actually is which is label paper, so that's only an issue if you're using it for stickers, not labels. As long as you know how to print on it, it's easy to use (it comes with simple instructions on the back) and the only reason my stickers looked different than they should have was due to the quality of my printer, not the paper. I don't like the back slits because they make the sticker/label part crease easily where the slits are, but that's another thing that's really only an issue if your using it for stickers rather than labels. My one real complaint is that if I put a sticker I made using these sheets down crooked, it sometimes pulls up ink or paper underneath it if I try to reposition it. It doesn't claim to be removable but I would like it to be a little more forgiving. Again, more of an issue when you're making stickers than it is if you're just making labels. I cut out some of my stickers with an X-Acto knife and some with scissors, a few I cut with the X-Acto blade ripped a tiny bit but mostly they were fine. In the future I probably will only buy this if I'm in a pinch since I've found cheaper sources of sticker paper, but it's good quality and great if you only need a small quantity or are just getting started.
I got this in the shade white and it's amazing! I'm super pale so most drugstore foundations are too dark for me, even the lightest shade. This product will lighten your foundation without changing the coverage or consistency, and you don't need to use much to lighten it one or two shades. If you need to lighten your foundation by three or more shades then I'm not sure how well this would work, but for lightening your foundation by one or two shades it's great! Now I can get the perfect match in any foundation! It also doesn't seem to change the undertone too much, although by lightening some foundations they do seem to get less yellow, but I like that because I don't have very yellow undertones in the first place. I think that the price is really good, especially for the amount of product you get, and one tube will probably last you a long time.
This lipstick is a gorgeous color and comes in some of the most stunning packaging I've ever seen. I received it as a gift and I was happy to get it, as I would probably never buy it myself since I just don't think any lipstick is worth this much money but I still wanted to try it. I was worried that it would smell or taste overwhelmingly of perfume, but luckily neither of those things are an issue with this lipstick. My only complaint is that it is not a long-lasting formula, so I have to re-apply it every 2-3 hours, but I really don't mind doing that too much. Otherwise, I absolutely love it. It feels very moisturizing and glides on super easily without tugging at your lips at all, and knowing that it's so expensive makes me feel special when I wear it. I know that's kind of silly, but hey, everyone has their thing and mine happens to be lipstick. It even has a magnetic closure, which makes it seem extra fancy.
This primer isn't bad but it isn't great either. It makes my makeup apply smoothr which is nice, but it doesn't really make it last any longer. It smells a lot like Elmer's glue as well, which is a smell that I only tend to like when the product I can smell is actually Elmer's glue. It comes out white but once you work it into your skin it's clear. For the price it's not the worst but it could also be better. I would recommend spending a few bucks more and getting the Hard Candy Sheer Envy Shine-Free Primer (if you want something mattifying - not if you have dry skin) or something like that. I love that one and it's only about $3 more, and I feel like you need to use less of it. This one does feel a tiny bit hydrating, but not nearly as hydrating as an actual moisturizer, or even a primer specifically meant to have hydrating properties.
