First of all, there is no excuse for the lack of range in the shades - this is not a new product, so it isn't as if Maybelline hasn't had time to formulate more options. The lightest shade is still several shades too dark for me, and I looked orange every time I wore this product. And girls on the other end of the spectrum have the same problem - only one "deep" shade, really? Second of all, you will look shiny with this product and by the end of the day you'll feel and look like a sweaty mess. Do not recommend.
Absolutely love this highlighter. It applies easily, it's buildable, and it gives incredible illumination. The price is comparable to other non-drugstore highlighters. I will definitely be repurchasing, and I highly recommend.
Really nice blush. I love the peach scent (which is definitely there but not overpowering), and it's a really pretty color for spring and summer. It applies easily and is buildable, and the price is comparable to other non-drugstore blushes. It also lasts a long time. Highly recommend, and I will definitely repurchase.
Not a bad product. The highlighter is subtle, but I appreciated that as it was the first highlighter I ever tried. The blush is also nice - a good color for spring and summer and it also makes a pretty eyeshadow (with some layering). I do keep going back to the palette, although I won't repurchase it, and I love the peach scent. It is a shame that this palette will likely only work for those with fair skin - it would be nice if there were some other options so that everyone who wants to try a palette like this could find something for themselves.
I used it once and it's not something I would repurchase. It does give very full coverage and comes in a shade light enough for me, which is what drew me to it in the first place (I have a condition called universal vitiligo, which means my immune system has killed all of my melanin cells and left me with no pigment - which means I'm incredibly pale). However, it settles into fine lines very noticeably and tends to also look very dry.
The only primer I have ever tried, and I really like it. It noticeably blurs pores and fine lines, and does a good job of keeping foundation from settling into fine lines. It also really increases the longevity of my foundation, and works well on oily skin. My only complaint is that a little of it always seems to come off on my beauty blender, which can mess up my makeup application if I'm not careful.
A really good product. Gives very full coverage without feeling heavy, and it doesn't clog my pores or irritate my sensitive skin. It can settle into fine lines if you aren't careful - you need to be mindful of not applying too much around areas that do have fine lines. It comes in a shade light enough for me, which I appreciate (I have a condition called universal vitiligo, which means my immune system has killed all of my melanin cells and left me without any pigment). It is on the pricier side, but a little goes a long way and you shouldn't need to repurchase too often. I also really like that it has a wand instead of a pump - I hate having to pump foundation onto my hand in order to apply to my face; I find it messy.
Absolutely a holy grail foundation - I doubt I'll ever use another again. It's very lightweight but (with layering) gives me full coverage, and I really enjoy the light scent. It doesn't clog my pores or irritate my sensitive skin, and it actually comes in a shade light enough for me (I have a condition called universal vitiligo, which means my immune system has killed all of my melanin cells and I'm left without any pigment - which translates to me being incredibly pale). I really appreciate Rihanna making sure to launch a foundation with a wide shade range, so that anyone who wants to use it can find something for themselves. The price is also lower than a lot of non-drugstore foundations but that doesn't show in the quality, which is very high. Highly recommend!
Absolutely love this product - it's my holy grail shampoo and I immediately notice the difference if I use anything else. It doesn't way down my (very oily) hair but also doesn't completely strip it and leave it dry. It actually leaves my hair feeling silky and soft. It's also a good price and easy to find at the drugstore - but I would not choose a higher end product over this one. Highly recommend.
