This ice cream was much richer than I expected, and has a rich vanilla flavor that I really like. I'm usually not a vanilla ice cream eater -- I prefer to go with other flavors and not one so standard. But this one is really good and the price is excellent. A very good buy.
Really, these are one of the best things you can have in the summer. The flavor is good and not watery, they are a good size, and when it's 90 degrees outside, they hit the spot in a big way! Sometimes it is hard to find this brand, but other brands are usually disappointing, so it's worth looking for the real Otter Pops.
I think this is the first Torani syrup I ever tried, many many years ago (when the label still said Orgeat in large print and Almond in tiny print, instead of vice versa). It's sooooo good. My favorite flavored latte is made this way: Almond syrup, espresso, milk, a sprinkle of cinnamon and ginger. Try it and thank me later!
First, the kitten-themed packaging is just adorable. Really fabulous. The shadows are very pigmented and creamy. The reason I'm not 100% happy with it is that I don't think the bottom row of colors work well with the others, or with my coloring. (Green eyes, fair skin, pink-toned.) The middle row has purple tones that can look an awful lot like a bruise if I'm not careful -- but generally, those colors work for me. And the holographic color in the upper left is great! (It doesn't look good in the palette, but once you wear it the holographic effect is clear.) The bottom row, though, are gold-toned and make me look sallow. So it's disappointing that 1/3 of the palette doesn't work for me.
Wonderful stuff, in general. I actually prefer the water-based tints to the other kind -- they don't stay as long, but I'm OK with that. They look more natural, to me. This one has a great strawberry scent (I got the pink color) and lasts pretty well on me. You do have to get used to it, a bit -- the first time I applied it I ended up with it all around my lips and on my teeth as well. :) Go lightly! The amount you get in the bottle will last a long time; it's worth the purchase.
I grew up in Seattle so Fisher Scones were something I always had when visiting the Puyallup Fair and other state and county fairs in Western Washington, and I would sometimes buy the mix to make the scones at home. I was so happy to see that I could buy the mix here in Atlanta as well! There isn't much better than a Fisher scone, hot, with butter and raspberry jam. Sooooo good!
I love Rocksbox so far (have received 4 or 5 sets). When I moved recently, I lost 95% of my jewelry on the trip, so this service is especially useful for me right now. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the jewelry prices are a bit high, though I have purchased a couple of pieces that seemed worth it. (Especially in the first month when I had a substantial credit because of the free trial.) Their packaging is very nice, and generally the pieces have been nicer than I expected. I think it's worth a try. Just don't expect the stylists to give you a ton of personal care. I don't think they are even real. ;) But if you choose a ton of stuff for your wish list, you should generally get what you want.
I got a largish sample of this from Ipsy last month, and honestly, with the name "Hempz" and the pot leaf on the packaging, I wasn't expecting this to be all that great. I thought it was going to be kind of hippie-ish, I guess -- more toward the patchouli end of things. But, WOW. The scent is so, so fruity and good. I keep using it more than I probably need to because it just smells so dang good. It IS a strong smell, so if you want to be more subtle you may want to use something else. But I love it and I will definitely purchase this in the future.
Hmm, this page says the product has been discontinued! Well, I hope not. I just bought a box 2 days ago, and it’s really, really good. It’s basically just like regular frosted mini wheats, but that little touch of fruit in the middle (which is basically jam, admit it), just adds a nice little tang to the flavor that is pretty tasty. If it has been discontinued, I’m sad about that.
