This is one of those "as seen on tv" things that could either be a win or a flop. This is a big WIN for me!
This iron can be set a temp of your choice and heats up in a flash. I have fine, thin hair that is prone to breakage so I dial it down to 250 and it still straightens well. I brush well while it is heating up and apply a heat protectant. Although it says never to use as a brush tbh I have kind of done that while straightening (while still brushing prior!) and still have great results. It takes me less than 5 min to completely straighten my hair.
Although this product worked wonderfully for me, I'd imagine that if you have thick or especially curly hair this might be somewhat of a challenge. However, my super curly-haired friend tried it and was also impressed.
To me, this was the best $20 I've spent in a while. Recommend!

Coming from someone who is a self-described lipstick afficionado this product is really good. Like, REALLY good.
If you know me, you know how much I dislike regular lipsticks as they always end up on my teeth. As a result, I have become somewhat of an expert on liquid lipsticks as they stay put. However, as a consequence of this staying power I tend to sacrifice moisture and volume of my lips. This product solves both of these problems.
I received the shades "death valley" and "red hot" free for testing purposes from Revlon and I have come to this site on my own accord to share that I honestly really like this product as it is unlike anything I have tried on the market thus far. It is long-wearing but when it fades, instead of crumbling in the inner portion of the lips it just gets lighter until it is gone. It is also moisturizing, and the matte effects hide my fine lines. It feels thicker than a traditional lipstick, which clearly helps with the longwear effect. I would not call it transfer-proof BUT it does NOT get on my teeth and it has even survived an overnight trip just as well as a liquid lipstick. It also has a nice, light scent and even a slightly sweet taste (!?). It applies precisely and evenly and the shades that I have tried are insanely vibrant and pigmented.
For a drugstore brand at a more than reasonable price point, I am absolutely in shock at this product as it is the perfect lipstick for my needs. I 100% recommend this product to anyone and I hope to see more shades added to the collection.
Cheap, and gets the job done! I use this for cooking, cleaning, and for making soap molds. It is a fraction of the price of brand names, and does just as well. Definitely recommended if you are someone like myself who uses large quantities of this product.
While cute and great for keeping small snacks separate, it doesn't quite work well for wet items. I love the divider compartments for keeping things away from each (a BIG deal when you have a toddler...) but if you are planning on using it for things such as yogurt or hummus I would look elsewhere. While the outside of the entire box is leakproof, the inner compartment is not, therefore resulting in soggy pretzels and fruit. The lid to the inner compartment is also pretty easy to dislodge, which can be annoying when trying to keep it closed and it keeps popping open.
If you are using it for small, dry snacks then this product would be perfect but I really wish the inner compartment was also leakproof so that I can pack a greater variety of foods.
Ehhhh,... maybe this works? I've been using it periodically underneath my daily facial creams and tbh haven't noticed much of a difference but perhaps I am not using it freauently enough. It has the distinctive tanning lotion smell, but it is subtle and masked a bit by the tropical scent of the product. Not sure I will purchase again, but worth the try.
This product is expensive, and IMO has a funny smell but it does a really fantastic job of both protecting and healing damaged skin. I am a nurse that suffers from dry hands due to repeated hand washing, and this product saves them from cracking and flaking. Great product.
I should be sleeping right now but I am awake and FURIOUS at this company not only for a faulty product, but for their deception when I ultimately was forced to send it in for repair.
I bought into the Kitchenaid stand mixer peer pressure years after my friends bought their artisans, and because I am a bit competitive I did my research and decided to raise the bar and buy the "professional" series which cost a pretty penny at roughly $600. I loved that this machine came with all stainless steel hooks, a large silver bowl, and had that awesome bowl-lift feature. I was also wowed by their claim that because this was a "professional" machine it could handle anything because of its unique internal metal gears.
I bought this machine in 2013, so it is roughly 6 years old. But, from the beginning there was something wrong with it. After about a year of light use (pretty much cake batter) I began to notice it start "jolting" when turning on, where the beater would suddenly spin at a high speed and then level out to normal. Even more worrisome was that on occasion when I would turn it off, it would continue to spin temporarily until it stopped. I thought at first this was nothing- this is Kitchenaid's professional model, why would anything be wrong with it?
Well, flash forward to about a year ago (so the machine was 5 years old) and it suddenly wouldn't turn on. I checked the plug, the connections, and it looked good. I then went online and found some helpful videos that showed how to take apart the casing to inspect the motor. I did that and looked inside. I followed the video's i structions and specifically checked the gears and all attached pieces for damage or stripping, which there was none (and neither did I expect it as the machine was used very lightly and infrequently). Because the issues I was having were strictly electrical I figured it had something to do with the circuit which is a repair that is doable for roughly $30 but beyond my ability as it required some soldering. So, I threw up my hands and decided to call Kitchenaid themselves for a repair.
Because the closest repair center was 3 states away from me, I was forced to pay the $60 fee to mail it into them for inspection. I waited over a month, and when I didn't hear anything back I called to inquire on thr status. The person answering the phone somewhat rudely told me that they are over a month behind in repairs (red flag!) and that when they get to mine someone will call with a quote. But. She said don't worry because it won't cost you more than $200 no matter the problem (whew! So glad, because I could buy a refurbished one for less than that 🙄). Weeks passed, and finally I get a call from someone with the diagnosis. Not only did they say my initial suspicion of the circuit piece was faulty but apparently several of the gears were also stripped which altogether with shipping conveniently totaled $200. I politely expressed by confusion as they looked perfectly normal to me and was met with a lot of huffing and patronizing from the person who kept insisting that I used it too heavily. Seriously? Ignoring the fact that I babied that machine what happened to those indestructable metal gears? If they stripped making cake batter than they need to rethink the quality of their product. I really, REALLY wish I had photographed the inside of that machine because there is no way it needed that much repair. No way. If I had I would take them to court for fraud and I mean that.
After getting nowhere, I decided to have it repaired and let's hope when it returns it is my machine that I cared for so well and had not a scratch. I will never, ever purchase an appliance from Kitchenaid again and will continue sharing my experience to hopefully prevent others from making the same mistake. There are better machines out there, ones that don't rely on their "good" name to sell inferior products. You get one star for being the worst, most expensive purchase I have ever made.
I have been using this mayonnaise for years, and before then it was a mainstay in my family's fridge. Even my extended family uses it, where it has ascended to a cult-like status. I prefer the taste of the light over the original, and when paired with sweet pickle juice it makes the best deviled eggs!
Love these eyeliners! I now own 3 in black, brown, and white and they are positively superb at drawing perfectly straight, clean lines that stay put. Black is my favorite, and white is also nice but tends to "gunk" up when using over an eyeshadow. If you are in the market for a good eyeliner, I definitely recommend these.
