21 / NHIA fall 2018 BFA Illustration with Creative Writing / KCP Japan summer 2017
I am an artist who loves travel, art, writing, and plants/gardening! I currently go to school full time, graduating in the fall 2018. I work in an art gallery and see other students on a regular basis. In my spare time, when I'm not drawing or writing, I like to care for my many houseplants that live with me in my apartment. In the summer I enjoy hiking, kayaking, swimming, and when budget allows, travelling. I've studied Japanese in Japan twice now and hope to return in the future.
It was decent, but I preffered the coconut one better. Mixing a pineapple juice with the coconut malibu worked great, but the flavor of this one was both too little pineapple to work well on its own, but too strong to mix with other flavors.
I flew United right at the time of all the negativity surrounding it online and on the news. It wasn't bad at all! The in-flight service was great, everything was fine, except for a few things. On one flight a bunch of the screens on the seats didnt work or would get stuck turning on and off, which made it hard to sleep. There was also a huge seating mix up on my last flight, and one of the workers was forcing people to check their carry on baggage despite the bags meeting carry on requirements and there being enough space in the overheads. On that flight, my seat got changed last minute along with everyone else, and they had booked myself and another person for the same spot. The man who was booked with me for the seat was part of a family with a small child, and he wasn't able to sit with his wife and kid. They moved my seat after I'd already put my carry on overhead, which was fine, but then I had to wade through the crowd backwards to get it once we landed, making me the last one off the plane!
Usually good, it depends on the flight however. Loved the snacks, but some of the trips were noisy and there was nothing offered in the way of entertainment - which is fine on shorter flights, but can get pretty boring on longer ones. Lots of kids and families on these flights.
Flew in 2013. It was my first time on a flight over the ocean, and I was so impressed with everything! The pillows and blankets on the chairs were very useful and the in-flight meals and snacks were good. Overall, I would definitely say Delta is a great airline. It's my personal favorite so far.
