Work from home mother of two active boys. Married happily for ten years. Dog owner (boxer/rotti-x). Country girl. Busy volunteer. Wood and paper crafter. Pinterest addict. Avid reader... books are my sanity, laundry is my nemesis.
I received a sample of Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara in an Influenster VoxBox. Overall, I've been thrilled with the product. It covers nicely in a single swipe and provides great all day wear. I have a problem with most mascaras smudging upon application on my upper lids and this was no different. I'm also horrible at removing my mascara at night and find the consistency of this product when removing to be different - like it includes fibers perhaps? It doesn't give me va-va-voom results, but it's a decent go-to every day mascara.
I'm two weeks in to using the Color Radiance line from L'Oréal Paris (received in a VoxBox.)
Things I love: my highlights and lowlights aren't looking as dull as they usually would at this point. The scent is light and pleasant - not overwhelming. My hair is soft and healthy looking if you can ignore my root regrowth!
I'm not so thrilled with how it weighs my hair down and at times I find the shine can almost leave me feeling extra oily. I have fine hair and not a lot of natural body.
I'm not in love with this product as a whole, but have been impressed with how it's extended the life of my colour.
I am a Pinterest addict and I'm not ashamed to admit it. At first I thought why use it when we have Google... and bookmarks... but Pinterest (even with it's sometimes flaws) is an amazing source of inspiration and ideas - all organizable and quick to visually reference. The site can be slow (or maybe that's my internet connection) and I do get errors with the Android app, but overall... one of my favorite sources when I want to find anything.
We have the LunchBlox™ Kids for Flat Lunch Bags sets and absolutely love them so far. They pack perfectly for an easy green lunch option. The freeze pack keeps things cool until lunchtime. Clean up is easy with top rack of the dishwasher. Fingers crossed they last the school year.
The Contigo water bottles are the ONLY ones I'll buy for the kids' lunches anymore. The auto seal NEVER leaks, they hold plenty of water to get them through the day, and the wider mouth makes them easy to clean. We always buy in a pack from Costco and have never been disappointed. Well worth the investment.
Snack and lunch-time staple in our house. Perfect with pita chip, naan bread, or veggies. The spice adds just a bit of kick without overwhelming the palate. Mostly recognizable ingredients... so I'm pretty happy feeding it to the kids.
Just discovered the heat-activated softener the other day (clearance at target). Oh my goodness! I wish I had discovered it so much earlier. It works amazing and the scent(s) are wonderful. I appreciate that there are no harsh chemicals - good choice for effective, safe laundry care.
