I got this as part of a VoxBox from Influenster to review, and I have very mixed feelings about it. I've been using it for a little over a week. I tried it in the morning, in the shower, at night, and to take my makeup off. My favorite way to use it is at night to take my makeup off or right after using a makeup remover, before I go in with my heavier moisturizers and night creams. It smells fantastic, i love the lemony scent and could seriously smell this all day and be happy about it. HOWEVER i have really dry skin, and this cleanser is just a bit too drying for daily use for me. Using it twice a day is a definite no for me, as the next day I see my skin getting all dry and flaky with this being the only change in my routine. the cream formula is very nice to apply, but it leaves my face with that 'squeaky clean' feeling which unfortunately for me means DRYING. so at night before acids, night cream and oils, it doesnt do too much damage. but using it in the morning means my makeup and especially my forehead ends up flaky and dry. it's a shame because I do really like it, but if your skin is dry buy with caution.
I received this from an Influenster Vox Box to review, and I actually really like it. I have the Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel as well, and I like this Peel Gel much better. The video on how to use this product on Sephora is misleading- the girl suggests that you use it as a second step in a double cleanse, but you really shouldn't use a product like this more than once or twice a week (like the box says). Use this over a sink because like other peel gels, your skin and the product end up balling up and falling into the sink/being rinsed off! As someone with very dry skin, I have to stay on top of my exfoliating and I'll definitely be replacing my boscia peel with this- my skin didn't feel super dry and squeaky after using it, just smooth and soft. Given that denatured alcohol is in the top five ingredients, people with dry skin should be vary of overuse because it's a very drying ingredient! Saturday Skin Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel
I received this mask as part of a Vox Box from Influenster, and I love sheet masks so I was very excited. The package has a lot of serum in it, so you don't pull out a half dry sheet of cotton. The texture of the mask itself is more like a collagen mask, its thick and a little slippery. I don't think both sides needed to have the mesh (though it may have been necessary to keep the mask from sticking to itself) because while I peeled off one side and applied to my face before peeling off the second side like the instructions tell you to do, but peeling off the second side made it lift off my face again. it doesn't quite fit my face correctly, but sheet masks rarely do. It felt more cooling as time went on, and it was a really nice sensation on my face. didn't slip off while I was sitting up watching youtube videos on my computer! I didn't find it to be overly moisturizing but I have extremely dry skin. leftover serum absorbed quickly! Saturday Skin Quench Intense Hydration Mask
