I am a plus sized girl that blogs about health and and life. I have an addiction to trying new things, normally health or beauty related. I love sharing new experiences on my journey, and connecting pwith others on Show me Ashley. I started my blog to have accountability and hopefully inspire others on my journey.
I was so excited for these, hoping I would get a red, or pink or even any sort of pale girl shade that would be semi-flattering no matter what due to the gorgeous metallics.
The good? These glide on like BUTTER gloss, but have deep coverage like a medium coverage lipstick. So moisturizing and I just love the light little scent it has that is so pleasant.
The bad? These shades look like I am trying to do a horrible halloween cosutme and missed the mark. The Molten bronze at lease has a deep creamy color and just beautiful= not on me. The Smoked silver is weird. It isnt light enough to layer over my lipsticks to create a new look, and it just looks muddy on my pale white complexion.
I am still going to go pick up that deep red shade as it looks perfect for some holiday parties, but these two shades are a no from me.
I was expecting more for the price point, but it is still pretty great. It's gentle on my skin, but after a few weeks of use I don't really notice a difference comparing to my less expensive cleansers other than my skin was always left soft and not dying for moisturizer.
I bought the gym kit to try out mini sizes and my favorite product is LIFTED! It goes on nice and is buildable- while the perfect brown/black to be natural and ready for the gym or pool. It's not waterproof so it rinses off with ease- but I can sweat and be oily all day and nothing comes off during the day so far! tarte Gym Bag Grabs Athleisure Essentials
Nice scent, nice packaging, nice product. It is not special or unique but on sale this is where I will go. I would like to see more natural products from this line, or maybe less harmful ingredients as that is where I am generally purchasing my products now.
I am a true and devout lover of Urban decay primers. Recently I have been trying to save some dollars so I tried E.L.F. I am actually pretty surprised how much I liked them ,and it worked very similar to my products I always use for priming pore reduction. Not THE best, but best for the price.
I am a huge fan of all things Tarte Lip. Gloss, crayon, lipstick. I especially love their glosses. This is a mix between gloss and lipstick to me, a nice pigment but strange formula. I think I would stick to lipsticks or gloss, but this was fun to mix it up for sure!
Huge fan of this brand, an wish I didn't lose my balm so often due to the price. I keep coming back though. Soft lips, nice packaging, great scents and formula? Whats not to return to! I almost don't like the shape due to getting chapstick everywhere, but hey its what makes it stand out compared to al the others.
