This conditioner is supposed to prevent hair fall due to breakage, which is something I have a huge problem with. Let me just say that I notice no difference in falling due to breakage when I use this product, which is pretty disappointing because that's what it's advertised to do. The formula was a little too thick at first, which made it difficult to get out of the bottle. The formula felt really nice as I worked it into my hair, and it also smells nice. This conditioner made my scalp tingle. I have used a peppermint conditioner before, and the "tingle" I felt from this Garnier conditioner felt more like a burn, so it kind of freaks me out to use. If any of you know what causes this, please let me know! My hair feels super soft and conditioned when I use this, but that's pretty much all I like about it. I'm pretty sure they reformulated this conditioner because I used to use it pretty regularly and had I actually liked it a lot. This product was definitely a disappointment.
This is a pretty hyped product in the beauty world, but I had heard so many mixed reviews on it that I decided I had to try it for myself. It is transparen't and applies very smoothly, and a little goes a long way. I really loved how well it minimized my pores and how smoothly and evenly my foundation applied on top of it. It did not make my makeup stay on longer, and it was not mattifying like it says it is. This product could be a hit or a miss, it just depends on what you're looking for. I really liked it and I recommend it if you have large pores or want to achieve a more flawless foundation application
This is a soap-free product, so it doesn't lather well, but it is really moisturizing. It's coconut scent is very artificial, and I'm not a huge fan of it. I don't like the packaging because it is so hard to get any product out. I don't care for this product and I definitely have other shower gels/creams that I like more.
This is a light coverage foundation that can be built up to medium coverage. The one thing that I absolutely loved about it was that it is super long wearing. Other than that, I'm pretty neutral about it. I'm not sure who I would recommend this to because it is pretty drying at first, so it is not good for dry skin, and throughout the day I notice it starts to feel oily and sits on my skin, so it would definitely not be good for oily skin either. It actually works okay on my skin, but I would never pay $34 for it because I definitely have foundations I like more than it. The CoverGirl Clean foundation is pretty similar- not as long wearing, but similar coverage and formula. I actually prefer the CoverGirl one because it comes in 3 different formulas that are designed to work for different skin types (and it's way cheaper).
This is very similar to the Jordana FabuLiner, but it's not as black. It is super easy to use and the tip is very firm, so it's great for beginners. It dries matte, which I love. It is not waterproof, but I have never had a problem with it smudging or running. The tip is a little too big for me; I prefer the Jordana FabuLiner over the NYC one because it's darker and has a finer tip. It's still a great, affordable drugstore liner and only costs about $3-$4!
Makeup wipes are the only thing I use to remove my makeup (#lazygirl), so I have tried quite a bit of makeup wipes. These wipes from Neutrogena are some of my favorite wipes, especially for removing waterproof makeup. The wipes are larger than most makeup wipes and they cling to the makeup a lot better than most wipes. I also like that the wipes at the top aren't dry, which is a problem I've had with a lot of makeup wipes. I believe they are not fragrance free, but I am sensitive to fragrance and these do not irritate my skin. I also wear contacts and they have not irritated my eyes. I have tried the Equate (Walmart generic version) of these wipes, and they are just as good. The Equate ones are cheaper and come with more wipes. Both the Neutrogena and Equate wipes are great and work well.
Looove this bronzer! It is the perfect color (not too orange, not too cool) and it smells amazing. It has the perfect amount of pigmentation, blends easily, and lasts longer than most bronzers. I also love the packaging...it's adorable! Definitely one of my favorite bronzers.
I love face oils, and this one was different than any other face oil I've tried! It's a dry oil that absorbs easily and has a lot of amazing ingredients in it. I have noticed a lot of improvement in the texture of my skin since I started using it, and it has been great on my oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I have also noticed that my pores are smaller and my skin tone is more even. My makeup goes over it pretty well, so I love using it under my makeup for a dewy look. It's not the most hydrating face oil, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin. The only thing I don't like about it is the dropper. This is right up there with my Fresh Seaberry Face Oil....and, right now at least, I like this Nude one better!
I love this face mask! My skin is so much brighter and even-toned when I wake up! I usually don't notice much of a difference with brightening products, but I definitely could with this one. It has a really strong rose scent that lingers for quite a while. I am usually not a huge fan of floral scents, and fragrances often irritate my skin, but I actually liked this scent and experienced no irritation whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin because it isn't hydrating, but, other than that, it's a great one to try!
