If you have oily eyelids this is a NO NO NO.... firstly, the brush it comes with is useless, it's too big to do fine lines or wing it out. I bought a cheap elf pointed tip brush to do details with, God bless y'all.
the formula is cheap and thin, it IS dark though and stays pretty matte looking throughout the day. but I have like Jennifer Lawrence eyelids... small and hooded :-( so the transfer happens almost immediately, it never really dries because it's gel.
the formula makes it kind of hard to control and extremely messy.
I recommend using a primer beforehand (didn't help with the transfer onto my lids but did prevent it from fading throughout the day) and setting it with dark eyeshadow(which still didn't work for me)
unless you have large sunken lids, this is definitely not worth $8 down the drain.
I had to write this because I'm using it on my lips right now and use it almost every single day when my lips feel dry. the one I use is the blue one with SPF 20 in it. I've also used the green and pink ones but the blue one is my go to.
for starters, I'm not sure what ingredients are inside of this product but it almost feels like they're making my lips even MORE chapped the more I use it.
It sits on top of your lips and never soaks in, causing you to reapply in like 10 minutes. very greasy texture, almost looks like you have lip gloss on which isn't a problem for me personally.
My lips feel so dry after I use this product and I don't understand why. like I can literally peel off flakes of skin. it might be the sunscreen in it but I don't think so. I'll stick with Chapstick lol.
For starters, I've heard nothing but good things about NARS products. I paid around $50 for this foundation, which WAS NOT worth it whatsoever. Super disappointed in how it applied; It's a very liquidy consistency, and runs off of your hand it's so fluidy. I use a beauty blender to apply my foundation and even that didn't help.
I use smash box primer before I apply my makeup. I applied one thin layer in the color SIBERIA, the lightest shade. It literally sits on top of my face and it's so so dewy and wet, it stays that way all day.
As the day went on, it sat into my fine lines and pores (I'm only 20, I have no wrinkles, lines or large pores) so wtf? I set it with translucent powder, even that doesn't help, it made me look really greasy(I have dry/combination skin.
I would never buy this again, this is the third time I've been let down by their products.
This is the worst mascara ever, I literally have to put on like 6 coats just to BEGIN to see any sort of lifting or lengthening of my lashes. the formula is very wet and takes forever to dry. I've seen others say it's their holy grail but it's a NO from me.
I love how fresh this keeps my face feeling throughout the day! it runs about $5.45 at the typical store, and it has 10% benzoyl peroxide in it. very gentle on my skin, and I can tell a difference when I DON'T use it. no pimples or bumps ANYWHERE.
I'm on my second bottle of this product and i honestly love it to death.
The fragrance is light and dainty, it smells of rosewater. It gives you a nice dewy look, and feels refreshing on your skin. Especially if you live in florida where the humidity will tear you apart lol. A typical bottle lasts me for about a year, but i also don't use it every day. I used to spray some on my beauty blender and dab it on my face for a nice soft glow
I ran out of benefit eyeliner, so i needed a quick and cheap liner to last me until i could buy more. I went out and bout this liquid eyeliner from ELF for around $3, which is exactly what I'm looking for, PLUS elf is a cruelty free brand. I'm going to note some pro's and cons
PROS With a eye primer, this liner stays on all day for the most part. It doesn't transfer onto the top of my eyelid after a few hours into usage slightly waterproof compared to other brands I've used Goes on fairly easy (i have a steady hand) It's $3
CONS Without a primer, the formula is terrible, it's runny, and is basically water The brush is a little thin(but i do my liner thick)
I definitely recommend it as starter makeup, or if you're on a budget!
Honestly, I love this product so much. I've used it since high school because firstly, the price point was very ideal, and it looked cute in its little packaging. I've tried the brightener, wrinkle, and moisturizing one and they all rocked. I use this one strictly for a simple moisturization after I cleanse, it smells nice, is slightly thick, and rubs in well. my skin feels nice and soft. ALSO, after I saw Ponds being advertised on Mad Men, I went back to this brand lol.
Nothing too special about it, My mom used to use this when I was little, and it brings back memories and it's for brunettes so I use it. the smell is great, and I'd like to believe it's helping bring out tones in my hair but it's like $5, so no expecting much! I rinse my hair with ice cold water afterwards, it deals the cuticle and pore, and leaves my hair shiny and gawwwgeous dahhhling
