Switched to this cleanser after using Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover for a long while. While I found the product to be gentle, I found the formula to be a bit drying for my skin.
I found this cleanser to improve my skin dramatically. The gentle exfoliating beads, light scent, and gentle formula have really bad the difference. With consistent use, added to my normal skincare regime, I have seen my cystic acne reduced. Definitely recommend this product to those with troubled, temperamental skin.
I was actually turned onto this product by my mother- at 47 years old, her skincare regime has kept her looking younger than ever. I thought that perhaps I would find similar success with this product.
The packaging is sleek and elegant- consistent with traditional Neutrogena branding. Because if the higher price point, I actually had to get an employee at Target to unlock this item for me and purchase the item separately before I continued my shopping trip.
This product has a light, fresh smell and creamy consistency. Not overly greasy, and spf to boot- not too shabby. For the first couple hours, my skin is supple, and remains moisturized.
This product is not, however, long lasting. Unless you carry the tub with you, your face tightens dramatically through out the day.
The SPF and convenience are a plus, though for the price I would hope the duration would be a bit greater.
This stuff is wonderful! I love the sweet, refreshing smell of rose and throw back packaging. I come back to this toner every time.
After using this Thayers Toner, I noticed more moisturize and softness in my skin than with cleansing and moisturizing alone. With frequent use, though, it can be drying- so diluting in a small spray bottle or reducing use to every other day is crucial for this product to be effective.
The price is a little steep, though for the quality I suppose it is reasonable. That being said, if I'm in a pinch, Target up&up brand sells generic witch hazel at a fraction of the cost. This product is definitely worth a try, though.
Elf is my go-to budget makeup in a pinch. For the price, the quality is unbeatable. These wipes take off most of my makeup no problem at the end of the day- the fragrance is refreshing without being overpowering.
That being said...this product is useless when it comes to my waterproof makeup. All that rubbing and it stays stuck. With continued use, these wipes can be irritating to the skin as well, so those with sensitive skin should probably stay clear.

Whether it's online makeup forums like Makeup Alley, Reddit, or my local Sephora employee: when I ask people for their best primer recommendations for those with textured skin, this product tends to be a go-to.
I enjoy the variety of sizes that Smashbox offers for this product- I could even buy a decently sized mini for a fair price, to give this product a test drive. Which is exactly what I did.
I found this primer to fall completely short in terms of pore filling. As someone with both cystic acne scarring and enlarged pores along my nose and t-zone, this product did not even out my skin texture whatsoever. I found the settling of my foundation to be similar if not increased with use of this product.
My makeup stuck on for my busy commute, though- so longevity is a plus. Would not recommend this primer to those with textured skin of any kind.
This primer is crazy hyped on Sephora, Ulta, and makeup Alley for it's pore-reduction and improving the longevity of foundation through out the day. I received a sample for my birthday, and gave it a shot.
Keeping in line with Benefit's kitschy, retro inspired branding, the packing features adorable blue packaging. Since it was a sample, I did not receive much product. Though I found full sizes to be quite small as well.
For a product that prides itself on pore reduction, I have to say I am a little disappointed. While this did cover up some slightly enlarged pores around my nose area, I found this product to be completely ineffective on my large pores and cystic acne scarring. I also found the formula to be incredibly greasy.
That being said, my foundation did last all day- so it stayed true to that promise. If you have a few minor enlarged pores, this primer will get the job done. But for those with textured, acne scarred, or acne prone skin- I would definitely not recommend this primer.
This mascara is a game changer. Saw a blog post about the true black pigmentation of Japanese mascara, compared to mascara found here in the US which is more of a 'grey-black'. There happens to be a Mitsuwa next to my work that sells Japanese makeup, so I picked some up for about $12- not bad for a nice mascara.
First off- the packaging is super cute! I'm a huge fan of old school shoujo manga, so the glittery blonde woman on most of the packaging is a nice touch.
The pigmentation is no joke- Definitely the most true black I have found thus far. This stuff stays on all day- through work, working out, and even crying. Seriously- this stuff is emotional melt down proof.
I love this cleanser! I was a loyal Neutrogena cleanser user for a really long time, though I found their products to be drying over time. This product has coupons at Target from time to time, so I gave it a go.
This product has a clean, subtle scent- not overpowering, perfect for day time or night time use. The gentle exfoliating beads don't irritate my skin, and I don't find the formula to be drying whatsoever. As someone with cystic acne prone skin, I highly recommend this product.
