So I got this in my Sparkle VoxBox and this is what I was most excited to try. As some other users mention below, this reminds me a lot of the Cetaphil cleanser. The scent isn't overpowering, and is a fairly soft cleanser for everyday use. My skin is fairly sensitive and this didn't dry it out, which was definitely a plus!
I really wanted to like this, but this was a miss for me. There is something really weird about the smell, and even the fairest shade is WAY too orange. It applied in a streaky fashion, and it felt more like I was just putting greasy sunscreen all over my face than a moisturizer. Used once and it's sat on my vanity ever since.
I got this in a trial-sized sample with an Ulta order, and I was pleasantly surprised. It had a different consistency than most scrubs and other scrubs I've used from the Body Shop, probably because of the coconut. It is definitely thick and more of a creamy scrub. I'm not coconut crazy, but didn't mind the scent and didn't find it overpowering.
I got a travel-sized version of this with a recent Ulta order and I LOVE THIS. It smells amazing, and I think it really helps keep my shaves smoother and cut-free. I really like that it is an oil rather than a traditional shaving cream or foam, I feel like it acts like a lotion and soaks into my skin when I rinse it off. Honestly, I love the scent so much I will continue buying this for the smell alone!
I really like the scent of this, and like that it doesn't make my hair feel too dry or coarse (which has been my experience with other similar products). I've bought this and the corresponding conditioner repeatedly, and I prefer it to some of their other shampoos and conditioners. Doesn't leave a weird residue either.
I have acne, and while I favor a more serious spot treatment for knocking out bigger pimples overnight (Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, Bluemercury Power Spot) I bought this when traveling and have continued using it in my routine since. I like that it is a gel and goes on clear, so I can apply it when I'm out during the day if necessary.
I tried this and I finally understood the hype about the Micellar water. It doesn't leave my skin oily or sticky, and removes all of my makeup without any harsh rubbing (even waterproof). I've repurchased in the full-sized version multiple times and will continue to do so.
I got this in a gift bag at an event, and I really do like it. It has a nice consistency that doesn't feel heavy or migrate into my eyes like some other creams do (when I don't use this, I usually use Kiehl's). It really kind of just sinks into your skin and isn't fussy, and I like that it comes with a pump.
The price is a little high for what I'd normally pay for an eye serum, so when I run out I'm still on the fence on whether I'll splurge for a new one or try a more affordable alternative. But if you can swing the $40+ for it, highly recommend!
I really liked using this, but I found if I kept it on for the full amount listed in the instructions, it caused a lot of redness that wouldn't fade for a while. I love the packaging of this and if you want a higher-end experience but still want a drugstore price point I'd recommend this. Like most clay masks, I'd steer clear of this if you hate the drying sensation and want something moisturizing.
I want to try the other masks in this line to see if there is really a difference in how they perform.
