These cotton balls are a good size for everything you need to do...there isn't anything super special or spectacular about these cause they're just cotton balls, but they're solid ones for the price

Review for Olay Fresh Reset Pink Mineral Complex Clay Face Mask Stick - 3 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I’ve just recently been getting into masking, but honestly between the cost (some clay masks are like $20? For 1 oz?) and the lack of time, I don't do it as much as I want to. This product is really easy to use; you literally just swipe it on, let it dry for 10 minutes, then wash it off. I haven't traveled with this yet, but I can see it coming in handy in this form; I can honestly say I've never seen anything quite like this. I'm picky when it comes to ingredients in my skincare, in that I don't want irritating additives, but a quick scan shows that this product is relatively good, though it does contain fragrance, but all other ingredients seem to actually serve a purpose. This didn't dry my face out but I do have extremely oily skin, and I think it helped with the clarity of my skin , but any other clay mask would've done the same.

Review for Soap & Glory Call of Fruity No Woman No Dry Body Butter - 5 months, 4 weeks ago
If you're looking for a good, reliable body butter, this could be it! The texture of this body butter (which will be henceforth known as bb from here on out) is definitely thicker than a lotion, yet it isn't the thickest bb I've ever tried. Whether you like the texture or not is personal, but it works well for moisturizing without being hard to apply and spread. It dries down fast but doesn't disappear, and the scent of the bb lingers a tiny bit but doesn't smell too strong. The tub provides a lot of product as well, so I can see this lasting for a while. I can see this as an all-year bb for some people, but those with drier skin will probably need something more viscous in the winter. I was given this product by Influenster in exchange for a review, but it doesn't impact my impressions of this product in any way.

Review for: Blackest Black more...
I rarely, if ever, give reviews that are less than 3 stars, so you know I’m serious when I give this one only one star. That being said, I wouldn’t spend even the few dollars it cost for this. It bleeds and there is no lasting power, it just sort of crumbles. It doesn’t dry to a matte finish either, and you can’t go over it because it grabs the liner underneath and takes it off. Also, the felt tip dried out at the very end very quickly, so I had a very hard time working with this. I eventually just pushed down really hard on my hand to create a small puddle of product, then used a small liner brush, but it’s a huge waste of product, and it ended up staining my hand. So yeah, i wouldn’t recommend this one. I tried the NYX matte liner and that one works way better; it’s like $6 which is more than this one but I got it on sale at target for $4.50 or something.

Review for Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black 1 oz Eau de Parfum Spray - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
If you don't like warm scents like me, this isn't for you. This is definitely a warm, dark scent that is very sensual and almost masculine. I got a sample of this from a perfume sample kit from Sephora, which is the only way I'd ever touch this, because, as I said before, I generally don't like warm, heavier fragrances. Though I don't like this, I will say that this lasts a pretty long time on me, at least for 6 hours. If you have this but dont know how to use it up , this is a really good perfume to layer with. I've layered some of my floral perfumes over this to make them more wintery.
Review for Food Should Taste Good Multigrain Tortilla Chips - 11 months ago
Foodie Expert Level 2
I am crunching on these as I write this review. These are SO. GOOD. While these aren't necessarily healthy, they're definitely better than your run of the mill tortilla chips. They're really good plain- they have that typically tortilla chips taste but the seeds and stuff seem to add a certain nuttiness to them- and they're also good with salsa and guac
Review for Trader Joe's Peppermint Tea - 12 months ago
Foodie Expert Level 2
I haven't tried any other peppermint teas, so I have nothing to compare this to, but I really like this! It's simultaneously refreshing and soothing, and it's caffeine free, so you can enjoy some in the evening. I'd recommend trying this out, it's cheap, so why not?
Review for Maybelline FaceStudio® Master Prime Primer - 1 year ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
Review for: Hydrate + Smooth more...
This primer has a thicker, lotion-like texture, making it good for those with skin that is a bit dryer. I have combo skin that leans towards oily, but I've needed some extra hydration in my dry areas since I started using a retinoid for my acne. Even though this does have silicones, it isn't as "slippery" as other silicone based primers I've tried. This doesn't have any really strong smell, in case anyone wants to know. It didn't seem to do that much to make my makeup last any longer, but as I've said, I do tend to lean towards oily skin. I did notice that it made my powder go on smoother and not make my dry, flaky patches look crusty. This also didn't break me out or irritate my skin, which is good. I got this product for free in exchange for my review through Influenster.

Review for essie treat love & color Nail Polish - 1 year, 1 month ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I can’t say too much about how much this will improve your nails as I switch out my nail polish a lot, but this is a very good polish for neutralizing stained and yellow nails. Generally, my nails are always yellow because I always wear nail polish, but recently I took of a nail polish that stained my nails to the point where the yellow took on an orange tint. I used Laven-dearly, and it took like 4 coats (but then again, my nails were basically orange) and that was enough to make my nails look presentable in public and not like I had a health problem. It is a very nice, natural looking polish, and its benefits make it a no brainer for when you want to throw something on your nails and be done. The brush is great-it is pretty wide compared to normal essie brushes but still small enough that I can cover my pinkie in one strike without getting any polish on my skin. It makes applying the polish easy, and the polish itself isn't streaky. The picture was taken before I had stained my nails orange, and it is 2-3 coats I believe.
