I've tried many tums products before and let me tell you, the chewy delights are much more delightful to chew than the usual chalky tablets. It has the consistency of taffy. I can't really vouch for the effectiveness though. I feel like it worked somewhat but not as well as I had hoped.
Review for Gas-X Extra Strength Thin Strips - 1 month, 1 week ago
I bought this product with the intent of reducing the bloating and gas I currently experience as a lactose intolerant :( These strips are easy to take and dissolve right on your tongue like a Listerine strip. They're also discreet to take so no one actually knows you're ingesting a gas reliever. I finished the entire box but it's hard to say whether these strips were effective or not. Sometimes I felt like the results of taking a strip were more like a placebo effect. If you're desperate, this might be worth checking out.

Review for ColourPop x Alexis Ren Blotted Lip - 5 months ago
This was my first colourpop purchase! I ordered the shade Deja Vu in the Alexis Ren collection. I was intrigued by the sheer factor of the lipstick since I wanted something I could wear daily  without looking too made up. The formula was more matte than I expected but still glided on relatively seamlessly. If your lips are dry or cracked, it will be noticeable with this lippie. I would suggest layering chapstick underneath. The color was also more pink than the swatches showed but nonetheless still pretty. Unfortunately the lipstick completely fell out of its packaging after using it for a third time :( It was so disappointing but didn’t come as a complete shocker. Reviewers on colourpop’s website also shared similar sentiments about the blotted lips cheap packaging. Heed my warning now and be careful when opening / closing yours.

Review for Too Faced Shadow Insurance - 5 months ago
I had high hopes for this product but it was underwhelming to say the least. I found the Too Faced formula to be more watery than my other eyeshadow primers (like Urban Decay’s Primer Potion and Elf Eyeshadow Primer). It also had a weird odor. When it came to performance, my eyeshadow still creased and slid around on my lid. I think this product might be better suited for those without oily eyelids. I was able to use the primer on top of eyeshadow though. It acted as a mixing medium for my sparkly eyeshadows to stick to so that was nice.

Review for Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Everyone loves the ABH brow wiz pencil but for some reason I’m not a huge fan of it. When I first started filling in my brows, I used only pencil. Now that I’m more into perfecting my brows, I prefer the ABH brow powder duo instead. The brow wiz pencil is hard to use and creates an unnaturally thick line. I even have a hard time dragging the pencil when I’m just applying it to the back of my hand. It is good for drawing the “tail” of your brow but other than that, I haven’t gotten much use out of it.

Review for Maybelline Expert Wear® Eyeshadow - 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Review for: Golden Halo
This product proved to be very versatile in my makeup bag. I bought a matte brown shade that I used as eyeshadow and a brow powder when I first started wearing makeup. It was super affordable and lasted me for years. I can't say how good the other shades are but mine was sufficient for my needs. Would recommend to anyone starting off with makeup for the first time!

Review for Stila Aqua Glow Serum Foundation - 5 months, 3 weeks ago
I was in the market for a new foundation when an Ulta employee recommended this product to me. She assessed my skin type (oily and dry AF) and initially paired me with the shade "light". It ended up looking chalky on my face so she paired me with "light/medium" instead. I was honestly surprised by how true of a match it was! The formula itself was very liquid-y and felt hydrating when applied to my skin. She advised that the foundation was also buildable. The downside to this product is that it needs to be set or else you'll look like a shiny disco ball throughout the day. I loved the initial dewy finish but a lot of oil accumulated on my cheeks and t-zone when I skipped powder. I had to blot many times on days where I skipped the powder/setting spray step. I feel like it wore a lot better when I used a translucent powder on top. Overall I'm satisfied for now. I only wish it was less expensive.

Review for BECCA Backlight Priming Filter - 7 months, 2 weeks ago
I received a deluxe sample of the BECCA backlight priming filter from Sephora. I'm not really a fan of the glowy look because my skin is already naturally oily but I decided to give this product a try anyway. I swiped a thin layer over my face before I applied foundation. It resulted in me looking a bit more luminescent but still oily. I used this over my lids as a shimmery eyeshadow base instead.

Review for Laura Mercier Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays - 7 months, 2 weeks ago
I've always eyed Laura Mercier products but haven't owned any until now. These eyeshadows are super pigmented and are smooth as butter as my title indicates. If you want the most color payoff, I would suggest using your fingers to stamp the shadow onto your eyelid. Out of all 6 shadows, I found the blackened clays to have the longest staying power. The metalliks faded throughout the day even with the setting powder on top. If you have oily eyelids like myself, it won't hurt to use an eyeshadow primer underneath. But if this doesn't apply to you then just finish off the look with the setting powder and you'll be good to go!I received this for free for testing purposes thanks to Influenster.

Review for NYX Love In Paris Eye Shadow Palette - 7 months, 2 weeks ago
Out of all the drugstore eyeshadow palettes I've ever owned, this one was probably the most disappointing. The eyeshadows had a chalky consistency and looked muddy when I applied it to my eyes. I did find that the two matte brown shades in the "A La Mode" palette worked well when applied as a brow powder. But as far as using it as eye shadow, it was meh. I only ended up using 2 shades out of the 9.
