I’ve used these razor refills since I started shaving at a young age and every time I finish the cartilages I remind myself that I should find a less expensive alternative. Recently, I received a Venus Comfortglide White Tea Razor that has a similar concept to the Schick Intuition and when I finish the refills I want to compare the which one is the better buy.
I’ve gone through quite a few of these Dove Advanced Care Shea Butter Anti-Perspirants and I have nothing against them. However, after having an allergic reaction to a fragranced body wash I’m going to switch to an unscented antiperspirant.
When I made a purchase at the Sephora V.I.B. Sale online, I asked for this fragrance to be one of my samples and I fell in love with it. It smells Parisian and it has notes of fig, fig leaves, and fig milk in it. I am definitely going to consider purchasing a full size once I finish my other perfume samples.
I had an allergic reaction to a type of Victoria’s Secret body wash and remembered that my dermatologist gave me a sample of this fragrance-free Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash. I liked the sample enough to purchase a full size. It makes me feel clean without irritations.
In 2016, I was gifted this mechanical eyebrow pencil in a L’Oreal Paris campaign and instead of re-purchasing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, I switched to this drugstore one and never looked back. It is long-wearing, pigmented, and has a spoolie on the other end. Just make sure to only twist up a tiny bit of the product because it will snap if you’re not careful.
Review for: Avene Cold Cream Lip Balm, .14 oz more...
My lips were starting to become sensitive when using super fragranced lip balms, so I sought out advice from my dermatologist and they recommended me three different lip balms. The first one was this Avene Cold Cream Lip Balm that I’ve used before and loved. It has ingredients in it like squalane, thermal spring water, shea butter, and glycerin that you would find in a French Pharmacy moisturizer and the best part is that the lip balm works.
Unlike a lot of mineral sunscreens, this La Roche Posay one has a watery texture and no white cast because it’s tinted. There is nothing specifically wrong with this fragrance-free cosmetically elegant sunscreen other than its warm tint that will not suit everyone’s skin colour which is why I’ve found another mineral sunscreen that I prefer more than this one.
I’ve gone through at least five of these concealers and considered it my holy grail until I was swayed to try the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer. One day, I was going through my makeup and noticed that I was one use away from finishing this Urban Decay concealer – so I applied it on my under-eyes and lids. The next morning, I noticed that I had a tiny pimple close to my left eyebrow and knew it was the Urban Decay concealer that caused it because I’d been applying the NARS concealer in that area for months and hadn’t had an eyebrow pimple since switching.
I’ve tried a lot of Nivea lip balms and I’m usually left unsatisfied because they leave a white residue on your lips. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the Hydro Care version because it goes on clear and has aloe vera in the ingredient list.
