40 something year old , obsessed with make-up, vintage clothes, horror movies, documentaries and sriracha. I am in love with all the Suicide Girls, I dream of doing burlesque, and I am starting to actually workout on the regular. ...shocking.
Okay. A warning first of all. I know I am not the only one this has happened too. When you go to open it, realize it has a pump...mine just "bloop" came off with the wand side and product got everywhere. I felt like such an a-hole. After I put the top back on, I applied it to my cleaned and primed face with my Sigma F80 brush and followed up with a finishing powder. For about an hour, it was okay...it didnt get any darker, it felt like it was gonna stay...my blush and brows went over it perfectly. It was a few hours later that the creasing started, the dryness, the caking. Next day, I tried same primer, and used my beauty blender and no powder on top..same thing happened. I really love the color, its perfect for my paleness...and i might use this blended with something else...but not as my main foundation.
I love Burts Bees, even after they sold out. I thought I would give this body was a try because I am a sucker for anything with Ginger in it. I feel like ginger invigorates me, energizes me. A palate cleanser for my body. This scent which is citrus PLUS ginger is just okay, it does NOT lather easily...is very thin...and I dont feel really all that clean after.
I recieved three of these in my BoxyCharm Subscription. I was so freaking excited cause I love me some eye masks, face masks, superhero masks...I also DO actually have issues with puffy eyes, dark eye circles (thanks genetics!) and regularly wake up looking like I watched Terms of Endearment a few times during the night. I've used 3 packs of these, they do regularly come in packs of 6...and I have noticed no difference in my puffiness, dark circles, Ive noticed no difference in the skin under my eye nor have I seen any changes at all. I mean they are pretty, and I feel like some Egyptian goddess footballer in them, but nope...wouldnt buy these for reals.
I love me a hair mask, and I picked this up because ...it was purple. I am serious, I am a sucker for purple packaging. I also loved the name! I realized after I bought it that it might not be for my hair type, but this stuff totally moisturized my hair so marvelously.
Full Disclosure, I bought this to use on my extra dry skin and I didnt like how greasy it was. So being the frugal person I am I did not want this to go to waste...and I use this now when I color my hair to protect my forehead, neck, ears, etc from dye because I have such sensitive skin that I need a blocker!
Review for: Torie & Howard Organic Hard Candy - 2 oz. more...
I grew up with my Granny having a tin of hard candy in her purse, and while they were a treat they were probably made of pure corn syrup and leftover bits of the fruit that’s in fruitcake. Torie & Howard Organic Hard Candy - D’anjou Pear & Cinnamon flavor tastes like pure pear with some spicy. 12 calories each, organic sugar, non gmo, all natural and super adorably individually wrapped!
I have been using liquid eyeliner since early college, High School was strictly pencil liner that I hid away in my backpack because my mom didn’t like my goth overload of liner. I have never ever found a liner that performs like KVD’s tattoo liner, it’s simple to put in,, doesn’t smudge, is pretty idiot proof and that means me! One pen lasts forever too!
This is what it says it is and does: -24 hour wear -Matte not flat canvas -waterproof, fade proof, transfer resistant -Medium-to-full coverage -covers redness, blemishes, discolorations -seamless blending
I have dry dry skin, and took a chance with this foundation because I do have some redness, I needed a matte foundation that wouldnt transfer, I wear a lot of black :) I needed full coverage and knew I could build up to that. I tried using this with a beauty blender and a brush , and the brush was the better tool to put this stuff on mah face. I have found that it doesnt oxidize too much, meaning...it doesnt darken once on my very very fair skin. I have also found that it does crease/cake up a little by my nose, mouth and on forehead a bit. It does last all day, I never have to reapply even living in humid florida. I dont think i will purchase this again though, it just doesnt blend in enough or give enough matte coverage for me.
This is the only darn carpet cleaner I use.. at home and at work. Cat stains, wine stains, that stain that happened when I dropped a bowl of curry...I am so lazy that I need a cleaner you don’t have to Cinderella and be in my knees for life with. I just spray, let it soak in, pat away. Done
