Ulta recently released a couple of skincare collections. This one is “To the Rescue” collection. I spend far too much money at Ulta and I love trying new skincare items so of course I had to have this! These are still available via the Ulta website as of the time of me writing this review. You get free shipping on Ulta.com orders over $50 and sometimes they have coupons on their main page, so definitely look out for that if you are thinking of ordering. Cost: $15 The Products: Targeted treatments that will lift, firm, and hydrate any skin type There was not an information card. However, the back of the box this collection came in had product names, sizes, ingredients, and a little icon indicating whether or not items are TSA-friendly sizes (everything in this box was). First off, sorry for the quality of this photo. Sometimes things look really good on the viewfinder of my camera but then I bring them up to full size and eww. (I’ve already used most of the products in these bottles so I guess I don’t get a re-do.) t
I ordered a double quarter pounder and large fries. I paid at the first window. When I got to the second window for pick up. The female was nasty with me when I asked why I had to park for just a sandwich? She stated "I don't make the food and you need to move over to the number 1 parking spot." First the McDonald's at State Rd. And Lansdowne Ave. was not busy even when I pulled in at 5 pm. There were no lights on outside the business. This location is a big hangout for juveniles and I feel that I should not have been treated that way. The female that brought my food out to me which was about a minute threw the bag at me and walked away when I wanted her name. I will not go there again and will also tell others not to go there. Bad experience with bad employees. I cannot even read the receipt because the printer cartridge has to be replaced. I do have my receipt
So disappointed to find out that my favorite moisterizer- Starting Over- has been discontinued in the oil-free version. I was such a fan of that product and used it every day. Because my skin can be pretty dry (especially during the New England winters we are entering) I thought the oil-free version would be okay and decided to give it a try. But this stuff is so greasy and heavy. It didn't absorb at all and made my face so shiny and oily looking. Please bring back the oil-free version! I don't know what to use for my daytime moisturizer now. :(I have been using this for 4 weeks plus now and my skin had a marked improvement. It is softer and clearer. On application it gives a nice glow to my skin. I do not find it greasy at all. My skin type is normal to dry. I cannot say whether their is an improvement on facial lines, however I'm sure that signs of aging are delayed due to overall inprovementI was very surprised when I ordered a replacement of the oil-free version that it is no longer available. So I ended up receiving the now standard version. I couldn't believe how oily this stuff is. I just can't wear it under my make-up during the day. Had to purchase a day moisture lotion. I don't think I'll be returning to this product. I had been using the oil-free version for over 6 years! Problem is I don't like the alternative Plantscription moisture cream, does not seem to help with fine lines and tone
I love this serum, but the Pump is terrible. I have always had trouble getting a small amount into the pump; instead it fills up--then SPLATS out (way too much). Then, the most ridiculous part is that when you still have Serum left in the bottom of the container, the useless Pump will not squeeze it up. I would advise Elizabeth Arden CEO's to pay attention to these reviews because no one wants to spend this outrageous amount of money on a dispenser that does not work. Was it not thoroughly tested before it went on the Market? Also the packaging for most Prevage products is way overdone. How much are we paying for the packaging.I have been using this serum for the last one year and I can say that it has done wonders to my skin. My skin looks younger and amazing. The only problem is that I am not able to purchase the product locally in Kenya so I always have to send my sister who reside in North Carolina to purchase. I would highly recommend this product. This is the best product I have ever discovered and I've tried alot! It leaves your skin in great condition and it looks even, silky, and so young. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
Whenever I order a Pepsi and the waitress says, “Is Coke okay, hon?”, I slam my hands on the table, jump up from my chair and say, “Heeeeeell no, ma’am! Coke is not okay. I’d rather drink the ink from the blue pen you’re using to write down our order than that piss poor excuse the folks in Atlanta have the nerve to call a cola.”
And that’s how I earned my Pepsi Fanboy card.
But it seems like I’m going to have to turn in my Pepsi Fanboy card because I’m not really digging their new Cherry Vanilla Pepsi and Cherry Vanilla Diet Pepsi. If I am forced to turn it in, I will not cry, nor will I drink Coke, because I’m used to getting my fanboy cards taken away from me. I recently had to turn in my Apple Fanboy card because I was not willing to wait in line at an Apple Store and spend $500-$800 on an iPad while dressed like Steve Jobs in a mock-turtleneck, Levi’s jeans and New Balance shoes.
The Cherry Vanilla Pepsi line may sound entirely new, but it’s not the first time Pepsi has combined cherry and vanilla to form a supersoda in an attempt to blow your taste buds away and pump either more high fructose corn syrup or aspartame into your body. They also did it a few years ago when they introduced the ridiculously long named and now discontinued Black Cherry French Vanilla Diet Pepsi Jazz.
At first, I really didn’t care for Cherry Vanilla Pepsi and Cherry Vanilla Diet Pepsi, but since then I’ve consumed enough of both varieties to make a dentist see dollar signs and slightly improve how I feel about Cherry Vanilla Pepsi.
I just finished my first bottle of this and I must say I am very impressed. I thought this would only last me about a month because of the size, but I was (happily) wrong! This lasted me about 8 weeks! I use 2-4 sprays and it takes away the feeling of cakey powder and really does make my makeup last longer and I don't have to blot at break during school. The price is great as well. The bottle is small though which some might see as a major turn off, but i compared the quantity in the elf bottle versus the Maybelline MasterFix and it was actually cheaper to buy two of the elf bottles for 6$ versus 13$ for the other.
I bought this at Winners here in Canada. I actually like it for my everyday eyeshadow. It's affordable and the quality isn't too bad...It's not as pigmented as I want it to be, but it'll do. for around $12.00 you can't go wrong. I usually go for the nudes and browns as I'm not that daring to experiment with the other fancy colors. Like I said, the eyeshadows aren't highly pigmented and a bit too powdery for my liking. I use an eyeshadow primer with it so that it lasts a bit longer. I tried it without the primer once and it didn't last long on my lids. This product is good because I get to experiment with a few different looks just because it has a huge variety of colors and it's really affordable. The only Cons I had was that you'll need to layer the eyeshadow to get the desired pigment as the product isn't highly pigmented, and make sure to use a shadow primer so it lasts longer. i don't think I'll be repurchasing this once it's done just because it has no staying power and the consistency of the powder isn't working for me.
E.L.F. obviously heard my rants because the Beauty the Beast and the Frozen Collection have a ton of new single products releases! Typically E.L.F. has been launching Disney inspired Look Book Palettes and has been doing so for a few years now but more recently, they have venture into release other single piece makeup products which I’m loving. I also adore the attention to detail on the packaging. For example, the E.L.F. An Enchanted Tale Eyeshadow and Eyeliner has delightful art work featuring Belle! It’s a really quite cute!
Fantastic product Finally....someone has figured out that people with gray, salt & pepper or white brows need their own color brow pencil. "it'"s gray blends beautifully! Love I have looked everywhere for grey brow pencil. It is the only brand that has it. Please don't forget us older girls not all of us like the blonde pens.
