Review for Starbucks® Black Sweetened Iced Coffee 11 fl. oz. - 1 year, 9 months ago
These are perfect for me. While none of the bottled drinks replicate the quality or satisfaction of handcrafted beverages, these are a good go to. My work required screw-top lids to be on the floor so I started packing these every day. It's a much quicker and more convenient option to going into starbucks or the dreaded drive thru line. I picked up a decent sized palette in Winco so I'd have them in my car at all times. Definitely try the series if you are interested and a bit skeptical based on the frap bottled drinks or Vias.
I both love and hate the Master Colorist series. While all my favorite traits of Ion are in this product: dye retention, coverage, smell, quality, lasting power.. I feel like the duo-chromey nature of the colorist series makes for an overall unprofessional look. If you are planning on adding to the color you already have, I would say these are perfect. If you are going for all over color, you're going to get so much shine and variance as your hair reflects light that it kind of looks like you don't know what you're doing. I tried multiple colors from the line and I think I'm done experimenting it and going back to the core Ion lines.
I highly recommend the Ultra Gloss line of Ion colors. They're easy to find at Sally's, and while limited in colors they're perfect for the basics. With volume 20 developer, I was able to put this on top of natural red hair and achieve perfect black color. It looked incredibly natural when held up against my mom's natural black hair. The shine is incredible on this line. If you're looking for an affordable and reliable hair dye, this line is for you!

Review for Davines® MINU Conditioner - 1 year, 9 months ago
I seem to be relatively picky about conditioners.. and I think that's because I've tried great products to live by. While I absolutely adored the shampoo version of this product, I felt the conditioner was both heavy and "patchy" at the same time. It just did not give an over all good head condition. Fighting with the packaging a bit in sachet form this did not feel like enough to really get into all parts of my hair and ends. This would be less of an issue if the lathering was more proficient and heaviness balanced with lather. It did not leave my hair looking too great. Smells nice though.

Review for Davines® MINU Shampoo - 1 year, 9 months ago
Love! I got this little baby bottle sized version from BirchBox. I had just recently colored my hair so this was one of the first color-treated safe and approved hair care products I used. This little bottle lasted forever. The lathering potential is fantastic. The smell is pleasant but neutral and not masculine or feminine. The biggest thing I look for in shampoo is that it doesn't strip the natural oils from my hair and make it bone dry. This was PERFECT and left the right amount of moisture pre-conditioning. Would totally buy full size.

Review for Paul Mitchell The Detangler - 1 year, 9 months ago
I am a huge fan of Paul Mitchell products but this one seemed to fall short for me. While there are a variety of great Paul Mitchell conditioners, this one left my hair feeling rather bland. The Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special is my favorite conditioner so I was expecting *at least* that level of conditioning power. It lathered fine and would be quite suitable for shorter and less issue prone hair. But it was not a win for me. Sorry, Paul Mitchell!

I was staying at my in laws place for the night and needed something travel-size that they wouldn't mind if I used up, as I use a LOT of conditioner on my long color-treated hair. I used this product alone without the rest of the "kit" and it was very moisturizing. The mentholated sensation on my scalp was lovely and I can see that being very enjoyable for someone with dry scalp. I tend to have a dry scalp but that wasn't my original intention for using this stuff. It provides a GREAT moisture renewal and made my hair feel great. I'd love to use this every day if I could find the conditioner alone vs. the kit! Check this out of you get the opportunity-- it's lovely.

Review for Giovanni 50/50 Balanced Conditioner - 1 year, 9 months ago
This stuff is pretty great! I've been using it for a few weeks after getting samples from a recent hotel stay. It smells great and works for both me and my fiance who has thin hair. With my color-treated hair I wish it was more nourishing but I don't have many complaints. It smells fantastic and it looks like it's sold in bulk at New Seasons where you can pump it into your own bottles to save money and take home. That would be great for travel! If you have normal unfussy hair with little issue this would be perfect as it's great for everyone, I think. Good choice for hotel toiletries!

Review for Shampoo 50/50 Balanced, 2 oz, Giovanni Cosmetics - 1 year, 9 months ago
This stuff smells great! I've been using the shampoo & conditioner for some time now after getting the travel sizes as toiletries during hotel stays. It works great for both me and my fiance who has thin hair. I have color-treated hair which needs a bit of moisture and I was pleasantly surprised with this product. It left my hair feeling clean but not dead & dry as some over zealous shampoos do. I noticed they sell Giovanni shampoos in bulk at New Seasons which is cool. I'd be down to buy this product bulk in my own bottles.. I think it's really cool you can purchase them that way!
