I'm a former MUA who is now a graphic/web designer, social media manager, artist, and co-op gallery owner. I'm a confessed makeup addict and buy far more makeup than I'll ever need -- but makeup makes me happy, so that will probably continue :)
I'm also quite attached to my tiny dog and am constantly looking for fun products for him.
The cleansing conditioner works well enough, but it smells awful! I don't know what fragrance they are adding to it, but it lingered in my hair all day and I would occasionally get a whiff of it and it just smelled like a cheap perfume mixed with fake mint. Natural mint fragrance is so easy to use so I don't know why they needed extra fragrance.
It cleaned my hair in a comparable way to Wen, but I just couldn't get over the smell.
Also, the pump on the bottle never worked so I had to open the bottle each time to use it.
I've been using the Feria hair dye since it came out 20 years ago and it has always given me pretty good color that doesn't look flat. This wasn't as purple as I was hoping, but it's still pretty. Just be careful because if it gets on anything, it will permanently stain it. Much more than any other hair color. I now have permanent pink spots on my toilet because a few drops of this fell on my toilet and nothing would get it off.
This color will last, but like all reds will fade a bit by the time you need to recolor. I only wash my hair a couple of times a week so if you are someone who shampoos daily, you'll probably notice more fading.
My one recommendation would be to get some gloves because L'Oreal gives you the stupid flat gloves that don't fit anyone and suck if you are trying to put on hair color. I don't understand why they can't just include decent gloves -- like they used to, back in the day. Seriously, they're pennies. It would be a nice touch and would make me much happy.
This is great if you are a fan of the peach collection -- smells so good -- and you want a matte finish. This spray has some powder in it so have to be sure to shake it up really well before using it. If not, you'll have white specks all over and will have to retouch your makeup and wipe the specks out of your hair. They do put a sticker on the cap, but I missed that the first time. Oh well, lesson learned. This is a great setting spray if you are going for a matte finish, but I prefer more of a dewy finish so I probably won't get it again. Still, a great product for what it does.
I bought this set because I really wanted the setting powder, which is definitely the best product in the set. Plus, it's a great value considering what you are getting. If you are a fan of the mascara, this comes with a full size. Plus, you get a chance to try their peach primer and peach setting spray. I don't think the primer is anything special, but it smells pretty and works fine. The setting spray is also nice, but you have to be sure to shake the ever-loving peach out of it. If not, you will be left with white specks all over your face and hair and clothes. Trust me on this one. Shake it a lot and then shake it some more. It has some powder in it, so it will give you a matte finish, but it will work to set your makeup. I prefer a dewy look, so I probably won't ever repurchase the spray, but it's nice if it's hot outside and I don't want to look shiny.
I love the peach collection and really wanted to love this gloss, but it goes on kind of patchy and therefore doesn't have much color payoff. I don't know if it's supposed to, but considering it comes in several colors, I should at least look like I have more than clear gloss on. Basically, there's a hint of peach and that's it. It does smell amazing and wears well -- I just thought there would be a bit more pigment in here.
I saw a review of this online and at the time, this powder was out of stock and it didn't look like they were going to make any more of it. But then I found a gift set with it on HSN and was so excited. This is a great setting powder. Not only does it smell like peaches -- I love the peach collection -- but it is a light powder that doesn't leave me looking cakey. And I have dry skin and am over 40, so that's saying a lot. I only use a small amount, and I apply it lightly with a big fluffy brush. I'm not trying to get a full matte look, just add a tiny bit of powder to set my makeup. I use a dewy foundation and this goes great with it -- I still have a bit of a glow, but my makeup lasts all day.
The packaging on this is really cute, but it's also really useful. I love that there's a lid on the inside that closes so you can put a bit of powder in the lid to use, but the leftover powder doesn't mix back in with the powder left in the jar. So important if you are worried about keeping your makeup clean and bacteria free. I just clean out the lid regularly and it's all good. It also means that this powder will last a long time because I only use a tiny bit each day so I'm guessing this jar will last me a year. Seriously, for the price they give you a lot of product.
I definitely recommend trying this powder. If you've had a hard time finding a good setting powder, give this a shot.
This is a gorgeous palette and it smells so good. Seriously, all of Two Faced's palettes smells amazing. I have several of their palettes so I like to use several at a time, and this one is great for that. I especially love the bright pink shade and often use that to mix with the peach palettes. There are also some beautiful highlight shades in this palette. The shades are creamy, blend well, are pigmented, and will last all day if you use a primer. I have never been disappointed by a Two Faced palette. They do cost a bit more, but they are worth it.
This is my favorite Two Faced palette ever! I love these matte shades and they are so beautiful on -- I never thought that these would be my colors, but they are. I wish they sold the lighter shades as separates because those are definitely the ones that I've hit pan on. In fact, I try to use lighter shades from other palettes so that I don't run out of those colors in this palette too soon, because this is a perfect size for travel and the only other thing I need is a bit of shimmer for a highlight and I'm done. These colors are really pigments, blend beautifully, and last all day if you use a primer. Oh, and it smells so good. If you like these shades, you definitely won't be disappointed with this palette. I hope they don't discontinue it because then I'll have to find a dupe.
I have several Two Faced eyeshadow palettes and this one doesn't disappoint. Beautiful neutral shades, some mattes, some shimmers, and a purple to add in. There's also a good highlight color. And the palette smells good, like all their others. This is a good palette if you are a fan of neutral shades, but want something that easily transitions from day to night. The shadows are creamy, pigmented, and blend well. Definitely a beautiful palette!
