Hi there 💕 My name is Krysten and I'm a 23 years old mother. I always had a love and appreciation for make up. I grew up watching my mother do her make up every day, and she looked flawless. After having my son I felt like I looked a lot more tired than I use to, so I grew to love make up even more than I did before.. It's become an obsession. Other than make up, I also love trying new things that can help me with my daily routines. I'm here to review products for others, and give my input on products as a busy mommy. I hope my reviews help. Much love 🎀
I received this product in one of my subscription boxes that I’m obsessed with, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I use to over look this product time after time when I would set foot into an Ulta or Sephora, and can I say that I was really missing out. This specific shade is a beautiful champagne color that compliments any skin tone. The formula is so light that you can barely feel it on your skin, but it has a beautifully color pay off. I have noticed that if you don’t set your face with a setting spray that the highlighter will come off easily. I would recommend this product to anyone, because of how versatile it is.
When I apply concealer I usually like to make my face afterwards, but I have very fine lines under my eyes and dry skin.. so it doesn’t look as flawless as I would like it to. The powder in this product is very fine, and not chunky at all. It works very well for some people, but it’s not for everyone. I personally wouldn’t purchase this product again, but it’s still really good for highlighting your face.
Literally one of the best beauty sponges on the market. I had a knockoff version from China, and when I bought a beauty blender my make up game was changed forever! I couldn’t believe how soft the sponge is, and how BIG it gets when you wet it with water. It made my make up application so much easier, because after I blend my foundation or contour in with a brush, I go back in with a beauty blender for a flawless finish.
I don’t know what I could say about this lipstick that hasn’t already been said. This product isn’t like most liquid lipsticks. It doesn’t look caked on and after awhile it doesn’t dry down and look flaky. It has the perfect finish, and all the colors you could imagine.
Once fall comes around and the weather begins to change, so does my lips. The cold, dry weather basically wreaks havoc on my lips causing them to become dry and crack which causes a lot of pain. When that happened to my lips I’m usually not able to wear anything other than chapstick.. so that means no lipsticks!! Until I found this product.. it helps so much when keeping my lips moisturized and I don’t have to miss out on any color. This product will always have a place in my make up bag.
I received the Maybelline Metallic Lipstick in Molten Bronze and Smoked Silver for testing purpose. I’m my personal opinion these colors are not worth the money at all. You have to apply thick layers for it to go on properly, which makes the formula feel a bit thick. The only thing that seemed to for well for me was using the colors as a lip topper over a liquid lipstick. It left a nice pop of color when it was paired with my Jeffree Star colors. I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to buy these. I’m giving this product three stars, because the Maybelline Color Sensational® Matte Metallics Lipstick worked well with the liquid lipsticks.
I love everything about this company. I can buy an entire make up collection that I've been dying for a pay it off in payments. They ship all your items out as soon as possible, and as safe as they possibly can to ensure your shipment will arrive in one piece. Customer service also works quickly to help you with anything you need. Definitely recommend shopping from this site.
I received this foundation complimentary for testing purposes... luckily. When I found out I was receiving this item to test out I was pretty thrilled, and decided to look more into it and read other reviews on the product. Most of the reviews that I came across were positive, and most people said that this foundation was one of the best that they have used in a long time. Needless to say, I was pretty hyped to trying to product for free at this point. When I finally received it in the mail I immediately ran inside to test it out. I did my normal face prep; I didn't change anything up at all. When I applied the foundation with my morphe brush it caused the product to move around too much, and made the make up look like I had splotches all over my face. I was overly disappointed because I have the highest expectation based on all the reviews I had previously read. So I kept trying to use the product a few more times, and I always switched up the brushes. It wasn't until I picked up a beauty blender that I did a 180 and completely changed my mind. Using the beauty blender made the foundation go on flawlessly to the point that it didn't look or feel like I was wearing foundation at all while still covering up all my freckles on my face. I had a nice dewy finish to my skin if I didn't set it with powder, and I was totally okay with that. I would recommend this product, but I would suggest using a beauty blender over any other type of brush.
The Bahama Mama Bronzer is my Go-To Bronzer because it works wonders on my white skin. I received a sample of this product a while back, and didn't think it would going to blend well on my skin, but it actually did a nice job. There's no shimmers or glitter in this product, it's completely matte and leaves your skin looking sun kissed. I would recommend using foundation or some type of cream base under this product, and then using your favorite setting spray to lock it all in, because this Bronzer will wear off very quickly if you don't do so; Which is very normal in my opinion. Once you lock it all in with a setting spray it should stay on your face all day. All in All I would say this product is most definitely worth it based off of the price. You'll get your money worth with the product and as well as the packaging (Which has a mirror on the inside).
Every mascara has one job, and it's to make your lashes look luxurious and In my opinion this mascara is just a gimmick. First, this mascara is $29, and there are endless options for drug store brands that would be better on your pocket and give you the look you aim for with a product. I'm not totally dissing this product... there are some pros but the cons outweigh them. Pro: the pigmentation of the mascara is great; It's rick and dark and would be perfect for any simple "eye look". The packaging is stunning, and it would be great for photos or to look more upscale when you're freshing up your look. Cons: The wand doesn't do much or make a difference in the way my lashes look. The mascara is really dry, and after awhile the product starts to dry out and flake all of my face. Because of the price and the experience I had with this mascara I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, especially when there are plenty of better alternatives on the market today. I received the Givenchy mascara for reviewing purposes, and I'm so thankful I got the opportunity to test this out!
