Hello, world! I attempt to blog with humor (www.thesagaofmancandyandmunk.com and www.swampmonsterchronicles.wordpress.com), I am just now learning how to be a girl but mostly failing and living my best life as a swamp monster.
Okay, to be honest, I didn't see a huge difference when I used these. However, I've only used them three times and I feel that you have to give them more time than that to do much that you can see visibly. However, they feel SO nice under the eyes and I like the serum used. You can actually rub excess to get it to absorb without gooping up your face or feeling greasy/slimy. It doesn't cause any issues with my ultra sensitive skin and I have a feeling if I continue to use them I will notice a difference.
I love this stuff. I wish it killed ticks too but I worked at a vet clinic for a long time and have seen way too many reactions to cheap flea crap on cats. I won't risk it. This does a much better job than most anything else I've found over the counter. Also, two of mine are extremely sensitive and Revolution literally burns them. This doesn't cause any issues at all and we never see fleas or any sign of them having been nearby. I really do like this brand.
So catnip is something that always goes over well. This is no exception. It lasts a long time as it's a huge container, it is potent enough that all of our cats lose their minds, and it's a nice size for "soaking" fabric toys in so that they smell/taste like catnip and get the fuzzies playing more than usual. Highly recommend.
This does not make my makeup last for 16 hours. However, it does make it last much longer than the other setting sprays I've tried thus far (Mac Fix Plus is too expensive and doesn't do much for oil and the Elf setting spray doesn't do anything that I can tell). This is inexpensive and while there is definitely a fragrance to it (not a bad one but not a great one either) after it's on my face I really don't notice the fragrance at all. Just during the initial application. Also, if your mascara isn't waterproof this will make it transfer onto your cheeks if you aren't really careful. I got the wander mascara in boxycharm a while back and this makes it look like I have black eyes. But I just wait and apply it after I spray the rest of my face and it's not an issue.
I love this duo! I end up using this even though I have a ton of different blending brushes (trying to find the ones that I like best). This and a colour pop shading brush are my two faves, I reach for them over sigma brushes (which were more expensive). They're easy to find, easy to use, hold up well, and don't break the bank. I'm a really big fan and plan on buying more of their eye brushes.
This is the brush that had me using brushes for foundation rather than sponges. It's much faster than using a sponge, doesn't leave streaky brush marks, is easy to clean, holds up through multiple cleaning sessions, and is extremely affordable. There's literally no negatives about this product.
I love this thing. It holds up really well (much longer than the ELF sponges and softer as well) and is a great price. Mine was still holding up after multiple months of use when my dog found it and demolished it. I plan on repurchasing as it's extremely cost-efficient and effective.
Love love love this. I have extremely sensitive skin and this allows me to have lotion/sun screen/etc under makeup and not have breakouts or issues as a result. Also, it doesn't make my oily skin even more of a grease pit. The price is lovely for the amount you get and the quality of the product. I'm a really big fan and plan to use this for the foreseeable future.
I've never used any eyebrow product before (I have too much rather than too little and very dark brows so I never really thought about them). I didn't think this would be the right color, but it works just fine even though my hair is nearly black. It looks natural, it's easy for my beginner self to manage, and it doesn't smear or rub around during the day, even though I touch my face a lot (I was super worried I'd have smeary brows all about).
