From award-winning editor and publisher to pug-loving (and best-selling) ghost writer, I am a Seattle transplant who longs for the California sun. I started running in 2011 and have combined running the world with eating around the world, and spend most of my days traveling. A few years ago, I started my own travel agency to help my friends, fellow runners, and food explorers travel along on my journeys. I specialize in high end travel and food.music.running adventures! I've managed to combine all my passions into my life, and I occasionally blog about those things. Having been paid to write and edit for over two decades, I don't often venture online to write more than 140 characters these days, but when I do, whoa WATCH OUT!
I ate these while looking at the rest of my Vox Box. They were amazing, but I wish they had just slightly more frosting, but was happy with them regardless. Cookie amount was perfect. Perhaps it's because I never eat Oreos anymore, but they were better than I remember regular Oreos with so many more calories. And totally better than the 100 calorie version that leaves the frosting out completely.
The method foaming handwash dispenser looks good, especially with the blue waterfall hand wash. This is the only hand wash we use in our main/guest bathroom. It's easy to refill as well, making it environmentally friendly.
Its not always easy to find eyeliner in the brighter colors that goes on easily. The YSL crayon does that. They go easily and really stick. The turquoise is a bit darker and less vibrant than pictured. It is great for blending. It does soften very easily, so if you want a sharper line, keep it cool!
So the Super Restorative Kit I purchased was the Super Restorative Age-Repair Kit. I have melasma. It didn't clear it up, but it didn't get worse while I was using the whole kit. My face felt moisturized and non-greasy. I still use the day cream among other Clarin products and the SPF is perfect for avoiding Melasma. As a kit, the whole thing was four stars. Individually I do use Clarin products as part of my daily routine.
I am a huge Stella fan when I want something that tastes light. Being a Pilsner, this fits the bill. I suppose I prefer a properly poured Stella or one from a bottle, but there are times when only a can will work, so La Grande Bière it is.
These beans are okay. The texture is always a little off and the flavor can have some can notes of tin. I'm not positive these are normal black beans--it says turtle beans, but there are a couple of subvarieties. The texture of these is not pleasant, whether barely heated from can or cooked to death (and every point between). And even with no salt added, they are quite high in sodium due to the Kombu Seaweed, which may also be an issue if you have any seafood intolerances. Also, Eden Organic, while catering to the more liberal organic loving crowd, is quite right wing in their support of politics, so if responsible consumerism matters to you, this may factor in your decision (to buy or not to buy, whatever your choice is).
This is horrible wine, so why does it rate a "B"? Well, because when you're headed to Coachella where glass bottles are banned (and dangerous) and you want to make cheap Sangria, this box is the next option. Head to Target and grab a box. Add some fruit and let soak. You can also add some brandy or triple sec, or just orange juice. My secret is some raspberry flavored fizzy drink. Instant Sangria.
