I received this in one of my ipsy bags months ago and I’ve found myself reaching for it a lot recently. The product has the consistency of Carmex but slightly thinner. It is not heavily fragranced and does not have a taste. I wouldn’t say this is extremely hydrating, it does leave your lips feeling smooth while the product is on but as other reviewers have stated, it definitely wears off very quickly. It’s easy to apply and it melts into your lips though, it does feel really nice when applied, just don’t expect too much out of this.
My overall opinion of this is that it is a very good drug store dupe for the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops for a fraction of the cost! I have the champagne shade which is a beautiful rose gold tone and the pigmentation is fantastic. A little bit goes a LONG way! If you aren’t used to using a liquid highlight like this, I recommend dropping a drop or two on the back of your hand or on a palette and using a damp sponge or brush and using that to apply to your face - but be careful, the product does dry VERY quickly, so you want to be timely working with it. The wear time of this is extremely long wearing, especially if you set it with another highlight product or a translucent powder on top.
And oh yeah - if you aren’t a fan of a blinding highlight, this product is totally not for you! This highlight literally makes you look like you stole beams on sunshine and threw them on your face. It is a gorgeous highlight that isn’t glittery but is totally radiant.
The thing that is keeping this from being a 5 star product for me is the smell. It honestly smells like I’m applying nail polish to my face which worries me a hair, but since using this, I haven’t noticed any irritations or acne come up so that’s why I’ve continued to use it. If you can get past the smell, this is a great dupe for a high end product.

This is by far one of the best hand creams I’ve ever used - and I can’t believe it’s sold in drug stores and grocery stores! The packaging is absolutely adorable, for starters. I HIGHLY recommend the “Original Pink” scent - the others didn’t smell NEARLY as good to me! This smells fresh and high-end and luxurious without paying that price! A little bit goes a long way - I recommend using half a dime size drop initially and really work that into your hands and assess then if you need more - it is definitely hydrating without leaving your hands feeling oily or greasy!
I never have high expectations when it comes to cheaper brands like Essence - sometimes their products blow me away like their Make Me Brow brow gel, but then there’s products like their Mosaic Blush that make me cringe. It was a whopping $2.99 at my local Ulta - very affordable, but you get what you pay for. The pigmentation when swatching was okay - nothing to write home about. But Lord have mercy on my cheeks, when I applied (or tried to) this on my face, it was so unbelievably patchy and the product was just off. I tried with a few different brushes and I tried with a very light hand but nothing was redeeming this blush for me which made me really sad because I loved the cooler plum undertone of the blush.

I am very grateful I was selected to sample this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review! I’ve never tried any Benefit brow products before so I was very excited to dig in to this! I received the shade Blonde Light and I liked the color shade for my personal hair color and skin tone. For starters, the packaging is very 90’s color-click pen which is extremely fun! While it’s fun, it’s slightly gimmicky and not TRULY an all-in-one product as I’ve seen some claim because it does not come with a spooly which would be very helpful. Most brow pencils do come with spoolies that I’ve seen, both high end and drug store. The tips of the 4 “pencils” are round and kind of wide, which makes it difficult to get the wispy looking brow hair effect. The product itself is not dry and is easy to apply. The pigmentation of the light and dark shades are perfect, not leaning too warm or cool which makes it more usable for more people in that shade range. The definer shade, for me personally, was very yellow toned and is not usable for me without looking bad. The highlight shade, in my opinion, could be slightly lighter as well, but take into consideration I am fair-skinned. The longevity of the product is AMAZING. It lasts all day without bleeding or fading and washes off with ease. In comparison to the other brow products I use, I think it is a great quality product even with my observations and I will continue to use it!
I purchased this nail polish at Ulta today since it was on clearance and I really wanted a polish this color for the upcoming fall season. I prepped my toes with the Essence Gel Polish Base Coat. The wand for this plum polish is extremely wide and not extremely easy to maneuver, which is the main reason for the 3 star rating. I had to go in with a q-tip soaked in polish remover to clean the edges from where the wand didn’t allow me to get very detailed. If you can get past that, this is a great polish. Two coats gives an amazing coverage on the nail and it is quick to dry and it dries with a beautiful sheen. For $0.99, this is a great bargain!
I purchased this hoping that it would be the perfect two-in-one product I’ve been looking for but not so much. Don’t get me wrong, this is a GOOD product -but not great. It does a great job at priming the eyelids for eyeshadow but I do not believe the pigmentation is there to color correct. It barely neutralizes the eyelid skin tone. Eyeshadow, both matte and shimmer, look great and apply great when I have the primer on. The sharp pencil tip on the primer makes it extremely easy to apply and get all over the lid. It glides on with ease and I like the fact this is not a liquid product with a doe-foot wand. Again - good product!- but not great.
Let me start with the scent of this product - 5 stars AND a round of applause because the lavender scent is on point!
I do not REALLY recommend this product as a 3-in-1 - it makes a great body wash but not a great shampoo (unless you’re not picky at all about hair products) and it doesn’t really bubble up to be considered a bath product. I really don’t like using this to shave my legs either because it just doesn’t create a very lathery application like other soaps do. But it does provide a very luxurious smelling scrub for the body that I do recommend!!!
