I have this product in the tint "Demure" and I adore it. It is a very sheer, slightly milky nude shade which is flattering on my medium pigmented (tan pink) lips. This shade looks a little more finished than the clear version.
Looks are just a small part of this balm though. The best thing about it is the performance! It is soft and slightly pillowy on the lips, but not thick or sticky. It has a slight, pleasant cooling feel in the first minute after application, but no heavy perfumes or flavors. The balm wears a very long time, and my lips feel lovely with it on. I will definitely be repurchasing it, which is a huge compliment from me, as I typically want to try the next big thing and rarely re-buy. This is a huge winner though. Can't imagine living without it!
I like these because they are a simple classic. Still, I only buy girl scout cookies because I have girl scouts in the neighborhood I want to support. I think the cookies are kind of awful tasting really. Even these basic Trefoils, which are the most neutral of the choices. There are so many good cookies out there, with better quality ingredients, the Girl Scouts need to step up their game.
Quick and easy. Nice flavor. Simple treat. The marshmallows make it fun. Both my son and I enjoy this at night when we are craving a little sweet treat. It's a better choice than cookies and very satisfying. Although I find we are craving hot chai tea more than cocoa these days.
I actually did not care for this blend much. I like the brand and I like hot cereal, but this blend was kind of odd. Almost too much texture and too many competing flavors. I really did not care for it, and neither did anyone else in my house, and they'll generally eat anything put in front of them at 7:00 am.
Cute styles. Good size selection. Cheap prices. Constant turnover of merchandise. Poor quality. The stores are usually very crowded and messy, and the wait to pay is off the charts terrible. So while it is fun to see what they have, and sometimes to find something cute to buy, actually buying it leaves me in such a bad mood (not to mention when it falls apart the first time it is washed) that I rarely if ever choose to shop here.
I think these are not really very good for you, but they absolutely fulfill the need for a soda which plagues me sometimes. The Pink Grapefruit flavor is light and refreshing, and I justify drinking something so fake by the fact that it is so messing with my blood sugar as much as a soda, and is perhaps not as crappy for me as a diet soda. Don't know if any of that is true though. Still, satisfying to drink. It is annoying that these are about a 1.00 a bottle, even on sale, which is kind of ridiculous.
I love Diorshow mascara and have it in several colors and also in the waterproof formulation. I think it is the best of the pricey mascaras. I'm not entirely convinced one needs pricey mascaras though. L'Oreal has plenty of great formulas which compare favorably to this one, at a third of the cost. Still, I do buy this one and enjoy it till the end and then buy another. Chestnut is not my favorite brown color for a mascara though. Stick with Black in this one.
I love Dior lip products and always try every new formula. The problem is I like the texture, taste, smell and packaging of the lip products better than most the colors. I feel bright and opaque colors can look quite "grandma" on middle aged women and that is the case with most Dior colors in the lipstick lines. I do better in the glosses and balms, which have more nudes and my-lips-but-better shades.
This stuff was very disappointing. Very heavy and thick. Not flattering in the least. I tried applying it in every way possible - fingers, brush, patting, rubbing, over moisturizer, without moisturizer - nothing works. It is very mask-like, even when applied with a very light hand. Awful. Pass.
