I tend to have dry, sensitive skin (often patches of irritable eczema.) I have been searching for a color corrector that wouldn't make my skin flaky. Many other similar products from various other brands have been too drying for me. This (with prepped skin) lightly corrected my undereye circles, but did not cause my skin to flake. Honestly, I truly love these! I have all 3 colors. I put apricot around my eyes, green around my nose and red spots, and purple where I apply highlighter... these are PERFECT for someone who applies makeup in the car a lot like me. (Hate to admit it, but it's true!) I put these on, wait a minute to let it set, then apply concealer and foundation like normal, and blend out the color correctors as I apply the foundation and concealer. (In other words, I don't take extra steps to blend it. It just perfectly blends on its own.) Wonderful, not too heavy, but still effective. My only complaint: you can't really tell when it's almost empty.
I love this stuff. It started out at Walmart then all of a sudden it disappeared. I recently found it on Amazon, more expensive but the only place that carried it. I will continue using it as long as the price doesn't get outrageous. It leaves a sheer sparkly glow on your face, can be used for a natural glow with or without any other makeup. I sure hope they keep carrying it!
Review for (3 Pack) REVLON Photoready Makeup - Ivory - 7 months ago
Easy to apply and doesn't cake. With that being said, it really doesn't cover very well. I have some light red patches in a couple of spots on my face and it doesn't cover them like standard foundation. I expected this to line up with hd photo foundations but it doesn't come as close to some other competitors.
Review for NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation - 7 months ago
Didn't quite know what to expect with the color when I bought this based on the swatches but it is super similar to the online swatch and applies crazy smooth. It is lighter coverage for me compared to other liquid foundations that I've been using for years. So I do have to apply two layers/coats to get the coverage that I need but the application is so great it makes me question how much I liked my previous liquid products. The color is very neutral and probably good for most fair tones b/c I need pink undertones but this color (NUDE) is closer to yellow undertones and still works great with my winter complexion (fair skin/dark hair and pink undertones). Great product, I'm a believer.
Review for Too Faced Matte Eye Shadow Collection - 7 months ago
I have tried the three looks on the card that was included with the kit. The colors are buttery, they have good impact and enhance my brown eyes. The last thing I needed was another eye shadow kit but don't have as many matte's as shimmers. Kind of burned out on all the shimmers and the matte's seem to really pop on my eyes. I can see myself using this palette a lot.
Review for Ciroc Peach Vodka - 7 months ago
For the slight additional cost as compared to the standard bottles of Smirnoff or Absolut on the shelves, Ciroc is well worth it. Especially when chilled, the drink runs smoothly down your throats and hardly leaves any sensation of burn. Whereas, other popular brands have that cheap liquor smell and burns from beginning to end! Love Ciroc.
