These feel like lip butters and are very soft with nice tinted coloring, but are not as moisturizing as other products I have tried, both from Fresh and other brands. I would save my money and try a dupe for these as I feel that there are better products out there that remedy dryness and achieve light color.
Nice formula and lightly pigmented. The true test of lip balms for me is whether or not they decrease dryness of my lips and/or are able to combat chapping altogether. This seems to help with both dryness and chapping, but I do not like the packaging for sanitary reasons.
I absolutely love the formula of this lip product! It moisturizes and offers as an excellent base for lips before applying matte lipstick and/or lip liners, which can be very drying. I have several of these around my house, in my car, at my office, etc. The only reason why five stars is not warranted is due to its packaging; I do not like potted lip products because I feel like I have to sanitize my hands before and then end up with a sticky finger afterwards.
Classic Carmex does the trick as far as healing dry lips, but I do not like lip products that you have to dig out for sanitary purposes. I have tried the version of this in a squeeze tube, but it is not the same and does not moisturize as well.
The one and only thing I liked about the original Burt’s Bees Lip Balm was the peppermint oil, which obviously this would not have given its specified scent. I had hoped that the coconut aspect of it would make it moisturizing and nourishing, but it did not. Sorry, Burt’s Bees, but I’ll take Vaseline Lip products over yours any day.
I know that this product has a cult following that a lot of people swear by, but the only thing I liked about it was the infusion of peppermint oil, which can be found in many lip treatment products. For me, it did not do anything that I had hoped; relieve dry, chapped lips and offer a good base/primer for matte lipsticks.
If I could give this more stars I would. Hands down, best BB cream on the market. Medium to thick coverage without feeling heavy and over time helps the skin achieve evenness in both texture and tone. I use this everyday and have found that I’m able to wear less makeup as a result because it has helped my skin look healthier overall.
My go-to red lipstick! As a MAC Pro Member and makeup artist I have found that this shade is truly universally flattering on all skin tones and even praised by those who claim that “red is not my thing” or “I can’t pull off reds.” Timeless, beautiful, and a matte done well.
