Hi! I'll try to keep this short and sweet while telling you a little about myself ;)
I am a 31 year old mother of 3, married with 3 step-children ans we have 2 dogs, a cameleon, a flying squirrel, 2 salt water fish tanks, and one and two fresh water tanks. I am an admitted product junkie so I'm so excited to see if I can become a top badge holder...

SEPHORA COLLECTION Lip Balm and Scrub is all the rave, right now? It’s all over the place.. I’m talking Allure, PopSugar, and even Teen Vogue! My lips are so dry, to the point, they crack, peel, and bleed so I’m always in desperate need of a good chapstick with organic ingredients and NO SPF! (Due to the fact that I’m allergic to most ingredients in sunscreen) I went in to Sephora and asked a saleswoman what their best SPF FREE chapstick and she pointed me to the fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 so I took it home, only to realize there was SPF in it... I could taste it! And it wasn’t giving my lips what they needed so I went back to return it and I told another one of their lovely saleswomen what I needed specifically and that it be great if I could find something with rose extract in it and of course no SPF and she showed me the SEPHORA COLLECTION Lip Balm and Scrub which had the rose and no SPF, not to mention, the SEPHORA COLLECTION was only $6 over the $26, I spent on the fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15... I’ve had my SEPHORA COLLECTION Baume Levres Rose Lip Balm for about a week and the smell is to die for! It’s smells kinda like tea rose, if any of you remember that stuff but I probably should’ve done my homework before buying because I didn’t know that each one had not only a different fragrance but they also serve a different purpose... Rose is for nourishment and shine, and my lips are shiny.... but I need something a little more heavy duty! Don’t get it twisted, I’m keeping my SEPHORA COLLECTION Rose Lip Balm but next time I’m gonna go for the honey!
When eos first came out with these, I thought, they were so cool! People were buying them like you wouldn’t believe! They were the new craze! But then I discovered that there had been a recall on the eos Organic Smooth Sphere Lip Balm due to ingredients put in it that were causing 3rd degree burns... Can you imagine putting that lip balm on and kissing your baby, scarring them for life?!? I can’t and I’m not gonna chance it!
I feel the same way about the Cherry Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm In a Tube as I do any other Carmex product... It’s awful! It’s cheap! And like I’ve said before the people that make Carmex know what they’re doing! They put the same ingredients in Carmex that your lips use to produce moisture and when you use it long enough your lips with stop producing that moisture on their own because they don’t have to... Carmex is producing it for them so your lips become completely dependent on it, which brings you right back to spending more money on Carmex... lining their pockets with money and leaving us with the same problem!
Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Ultra Plush Lip Gloss is hands down on of my fave lips glosses, EVER!!!! It’s that perfect nude lip gloss, not quite clear, but the perfect shade of nude.. It’s glossy but not sticky, it has a beautiful warm smell, I even replaced my clear lip gloss with it! It’s one of those looks good with everything glosses, from a football game to a night out with your girls!
Aveeno Active Naututals Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer is just another Aveeno fave of mine... It’s clinically proved to; visibly reduce redness, soothe irritated or sensitive skin with naturally calming feverfew... And it does all those things! This is one of the only products I can use that carry sunscreen in it that doesn’t irritate my skin or cause any allergic reactions... as a matter a fact, Any and all of my Aveeno products , are the only products with sunscreen I can use period... Probably, due to to their high quality ingredients.. they aren’t just throwing anything in there, y’all! You’re getting high quality product for such an inexpensive price... why not try it?!?
I am absolutely in love with my BeautyBlender Sponge! When it first came out, I thought, what’s a waist of money! But then I tried it and it changed everything about the way I put my foundation on! It changed the way my makeup laid on my face... The way it allows you to blend like no other! I’m so glad I invested in my BeautyBlender and you will be too!
I don’t care for Blistex Medicated Lip Balm... The smell is awful, you can literally taste the SPF in it, and it priovides my lips with no protection, and no nourishment... Essentially, everything you need from a lip balm, you’re not gonna find with Blistex! #SorryBlistex
I loved my e.l.f Cosmetics Lip Exfoliator! I picked mine up at target for two dollars, I think, and I loved everything about it! The brown sugar smell and taste, the exfoliant, that got rid of all the dead skin on your lips, priming them for you next lip product... When I got to the bottom I was literally finding whatever tools or objects I could to get my hands on just so I could salvage what was left at the bottom of the tube... I need to go get more! Anyone with me?
I’m just gonna come right out and say it... I DONT LIKE CARMEX! I don’t like the smell, the taste, or it’s ingredients... The people that create this product aren’t stupid! They know exactly what they’re doing when they put the same ingredients in Carmex that your lips produce naturally and because Carmex is giving you that moisture, your lips don’t have to produce it anymore, making you completely dependent on it for the moisture your lips need... It’s the same with Visine Original Redness Relief Eye Drops... It’s made to give your eyes moisture but after so long, your eyes will stop producing that moisture on their own because they don’t have to.. Visine is doing it for them! Which again leaves you completely dependent on it, in order to keep your eyes happy... In closing, these companies do this so they can keep you coming back for more, keep you buying their product, it’s a trick to keep their pockets lined with money and we blindly hand it over not knowing that what we are buying is creating a much bigger problem and down the rabbit hole we go!
