I'm an inbound marketer, gamer, and pop-culture geek in Indianapolis. I love craft beer, local food, and wasting time on the Internets. I'm super passionate about startups, building communities, and culture.
While this did help calm down my hormonal breakouts, the trade off was a lot of redness and irritation. I recently tried a sample of this from Sephora, and it came so highly recommended that I think I'll give it another shot. I used it for the first time on a work trip to an area with very different climate and under a fair amount of stress, so I don't want to rule it out yet!
I spent years trying to find a replacement for this L'Oreal HIP eye crayon I used to use. I've never been able to find another bronzey similar enough, until I found this one! It's not as chunky as the crayon, but it goes on super smooth and the color makes my blue eyes really pop! It's super easy to throw in my purse for touch ups too, I've been blending mineral eye colors and using a brush for so long, I forgot how great it was to just have a pencil on hand :)
It took a little getting used to - I've used solid stick deodorants since puberty - but this stuff is aces! No residue and it lasts just as well as the solid Dove deodorant I've always used. The scent is great too, very pleasant, but subtle.
Apart from the usual usefulness in from-scratch, homecooked meals... A little bit of garlic salt is the perfect way to jazz up frozen pizza, french fries, or even soups! Some nights you're just wiped, and you want something quick and easy - good seasoning is my secret to keeping the "lazy meals" delicious!
I have a great experience every time I go to Petco. The staff at my local store are always friendly and helpful, and I have never had trouble finding grooming supplies or my dog's food. Every once in a while I'll pick up a toy too, though I usually get toys and treats in our BarkBox subscription :)
I also really love that they encourage adoption and responsible pet ownership in signage throughout the store, working with local pet rescues, and informing prospective pet parents what kind of temperament and care requirements their less well-understood pets have (i.e. turtles, exotic fish, birds, etc.)
