My name is Khou Yang. I'm a make up and skin care lover. I've been an amazon reviews regular for years and have been snapchatting my skin care reviews. On my spare time, I like to watch cooking shows and get myself on the yoga/fitness train.
I love it. I got this product as a Christmas gift last year. I have normal combo oily to dry skin. It’s a foam clear gel like type of cleanser. Gentle on the skin and good for every day use. It doesn’t strip any natural oils off of my skin. After one use, my skin feel soft and clean. It doesn’t tighten or dry my skin at all. I use it every morning. It costs about $9-11 on Amazon so its worth the money & the rave that beauty bloggers rave about.
It does have a slight tea tree oil smell. But it is not a strong smell at all. It smells pretty nice and soothing.
I was never a foam cleanser type of gal as it doesn’t do well with my skin. It irritates my skin majority of the time but this product is working like magic so far. If you like foam cleanser but don’t want to leave your skin irritated and dry, try Cosrx low ph Good morning gel cleanser!
It’s a refreshing exfoliating cleanser. It is kinda like a gel but it doesn’t leave your skin dry. I love the beads that cleans my face. It does make my face feel cleaner and refresh in the morning. I don’t use it as much as my other acne prone cleanser but it does the exfoliating job. It does have a very clean, soapy and citrus smell like all clean and clear products. Recommend if you’re looking for a gentle cleanser.
I’ve been a loyal customer to this product! It works for my skin. I have normal to oily acne prone skin. I’ve been using this product for 10 years. Hands down one of the best cleanser and only cleanser that I use. It has 10% of benzoyl peroxide which is used to treat acne. I remember clearly when I first started using it back in high school, my pimples were gone within 3 days after using this cleanser. Now it only takes one week to see results. Comes out a white cream paste. Smells like soap. Will dry out your sensitive skin but i only use it when i have acne or acne spots. Because of dryness and excessive use of the product in a day, i have limit myself to using this product once a day to avoid excessive dryness on my skin. The formula did change a bit compare to 10 years ago but baby, it still works. My husband uses it too and he’s loving the fact that his acne can be treated so quickly. If you’re experiencing acne problems and can’t seem to treat them. I highly, highly recommend Clean & Clear continuous control acne cleanser.
I do not recommend using this cleanser after exfoliating. It will irritate your skin.
I got this facial mask as a gift over the holiday and upon opening the product, it looks like an oatmeal texture. Massage it in onto my face after my usual cleanser and left it on for 10 mins. Warm wash up after leaving my skin soft and brightening. I’ve use it twice this week and I’m loving it so far!
Pros: lightweight Non-greasy Softens and brightens skin (exactly as Skinfood claims) Best on sensitive skin Smells great -no strong or sweet smell It’s affordable at Ulta for $10!
Con: can’t complain!
I would def. recommend this product for those who are looking for a sensitive facial mask that soothes, soften and brightens your face.
Definitely one of my holy grail serum! It’s my first time using a vitamin C product. The first week that I got the product, I used it twice a day. It did sting on my skin the first use but after that it worked like magic and doesn’t sting no more. I did notice, my skin brightens up, my skin looks healthier and hydrated. After the first week i didn’t use it so much. I only used it as a night time routine. It is sensitive to the sun so use sunscreen! However i don’t have many sunscreen product to top of this serum so I’m using it as a night time facial routine instead. I did notice after 3 weeks of using it, it does fades away hyper pigmentation from my acne scars. I do have acne prone skin so that leaves quite a bit of scars on my face and this vitamin C fade it all away! Slowly but surely.
It’s not sticky. It doesn’t smell bad at all. It does need to be refrigerated after using it or it will oxidize. It comes with a type of squeeze dispenser or syringe applicator which helps.
I had my husband use it and he def. notice his face brightening up. His acne scars slightly fading. He does not use it every day however. I have attach a photo of when I first used it and an after photo of the first 5 weeks. I did take the photo in two different lighting (sorry) but you can see that my acne has faded along with the scar that it left behind. I would def. recommend buying this vitamin C!
I purchase this one month ago. I absolutely love it! It’s one of my holy grail products. Makes my face feel soft as a baby’s bottom. It is a gentle cleanser with an exfoliating self foaming side and a non texture gentle self foaming side as well. I use the exfoliating side to scrub away dirt, oil, dead skin cell and black heads. Boy, it scrubs good! A lot of my blackheads are gone after one use.
Pros: it does exfoliate well. Gentle for everyday use like it is advertise. There are 28 disks however, one disk can be cut up in fours and saves you so much! A little goes a long way. Last me for one month now and i still have a lot left. Of course, I don’t use it everyday but 3 times a week is good on my skin. My skin tone is even out and it does smooth out the texture of my skin. It does say that in 1 week you will see results. Roc claims that “In 1 week the appearance of fine lines is reduced and skin tone and texture is improved.” Fine lines, not so much but my skin tone is even out. I have acne prone skin so I do have some textured bumps and this product really helps to scrub away dirt and oil to smoothen my skin. It doesn’t smell bad either. It’s kind of have a citrus, soapy clean smell. Which is nice.
The price for this is pretty cheap coming from a ROC brand. It’s $10 at Walgreens but you can get it at Walmart for $8-9. However if you can get it on sale (buy one get one half off at Walgreens) I’d def. stock up!
Con: Roc Daily Resurfacing Disks claim to “diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the appearance of skin in just one week.” I don’t have wrinkles so I can’t say. However I do have fine lines on my forehead and under my eye & the appearance of it is still there but not as showy. This product has help improve my skin but not wrinkles.
Overall, it’s one of my holy grail products! It does contain some protein called Glycine Soja protein which is a botanical ingredients used in cosmetics products to soothe and moisturize skin. I did my own research on this and can say that it does soothe and moisturize my skin making it soft and smooth.
I’d def. would recommend it as a make up remover and for exfoliating skin. It’s a great facial product for everyday use.
Bought my first Missha product for a 7 step korean skin care. I have to say, it is hydrating on your skin. Works like a toner but not exactly a toner too. It has a water like consistency. It’s light for oily skin and gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Layers well. Packaging comes in full bottle. I hear other reviewers say that it comes not in full but mine is in fact full and unopen. There should be a white stopper under the cap to stop leaks when you first buy the product. The formula doesn’t irritate my skin whatsoever. The packaging is beautifully made in glass. Simple and very sophisticated. I don’t mind glass but other do.
Pros: packaging is beautiful. Light and gentle for sensitive and acne prone skin. Hydrating and moisturize your skin. Brightens my skin too. For the price of $20 ( bought it off of Amazon) it is a great product!
Cons: missha claims that this product will help repair your wrinkles. I doubt that to be true. I can still see some forehead wrinkles but I’m not that old to notice any other wrinkles yet.
Other than that it is my holy grail products. I do see less acne and my skin is hydrated and bright.
Hands down one of the best cleanser for acne prone skin. I have adult acne with normal to oily skin and this product makes my pimples disappear in 1-2 days. It will dry out your skin if you use it often like I did( twice or sometimes three times a day). I recommend this product very much! I can’t wait to order another one.
Bought this on Amazon. I’ve been using this for 9-10 months and am loving it as my toner. I use it twice a day. Once in the morning and night time. I do see my pores minimizing and a balance in my face. It’s a lot and will last pretty long. I would recommend getting this if you have large pores and are looking for some remedy to make it smaller.
