Spent the last few semesters studying Information Systems Technology and hope to increase my knowledge of IT security. I also read a lot of fiction, mostly Walter Mosley, Stephen King, Michael Connelly, and I love John Sandford's Prey series. I tend to binge watch tv shows such as Ozark, Better Call Saul, andMindhunter, as I work from home and take care of the family. I love trying out new products and sharing my experiences with family and friends. If a product doesn't live up to its hype, I'm gonna tell it, and if it's wonderful, you bet I'll say it.
Magical! From the 2nd does, I already could feel a great diminishing of my pain! I honestly didn't think this medication would work, but since the 3rd dose, I've had no problems, no pain, not any problems! This is far more affordable from the name brand and it works WONDERFULLY! Be forewarned: your pee WILL turn orange!
I enjoyed this very much but it was nowhere near as horrifying as The Shining. I just didn't find the . . . monsters? . . . to be scary much at all. I think it could have been better. Still, it was a great story and it was very entertaining for me.
I really enjoyed this story so much I had to read the others that followed it! Great characters, very very interesting storyline. I found this very difficult to put down at night and kept myself up late until I finished it!
So, I rewatched the original version and you can see it didn't hold over well through the years. However, you really have to see this one before the remake, so you can appreciate the changes in the newer movie. This one keeps some things the remake misses, and it hurts the new telling of the story to not have them. The special effects come along pretty well for the 90s television cinema. Definitely one to watch in the dark on a stormy night!
I haven't picked this back up in many years and I think it's time to give it a go. Definitely scary but also disturbing at the same time. If you can see the parallel between how the adults cannot see the horrors the children experience and how often children are overlooked in real life in many other instances, who is the true monster of It, then?
Wonderful series and such a shame the author has passed. He really knew how to take a tale and twist it up, making it so discombobulated that you were wrong when you were right about being wrong regarding what was truly going on to begin with! LOVED them!
I absolutely love this book; one of my favorites! Every time I read it I get lost in her world. I'm no longer here, but am with her, right alongside her experiencing all she goes through. Such a wonderful book, both angering and heartbreaking.
