I'm a 19 year old boy from Texas with a huge interest in fashion and beauty. Aspiring blogger with a lack of things to blog about. I've got a decent online following with audiences from around Asia including Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Singapore, China, Japan, and Vietnam. I was a finalist for the National Security Language Initiative scholarship funded by the US Department of State that paid for me to live in Seoul, South Korea for 10 months during which I was able to establish a wide network of connections. While there, I learned Korean, made tons of friends, and really got a feel for the culture there. I truly believe Korea is becoming a hub for innovations in not only technology (Samsung), but also fashion and beauty. Several trends have made their way into American markets already including the most notable of them all, BB cream. I'm really hoping that I'll be able to build up an online presence via product reviews and trend-tracking. I love writing and spending hours on a post until it's polished and primed to be shared! Definitely one of the most satisfying feelings. Looking forward to sharing my writing talents and breaking into the product-review market.
This is one of the softest pencils I've used and it's great for lightly touching up on areas of the brow that need a little bit of attention and filling in. Beware if you drop it... It'll just keep on dispensing as crumbled little bits. Really depressing... I love this pencil though because it's so easy and quick to outline my brow shape before filling it in with a powder. It's also really easy to blend into the brow if you accidentally make any strong lines along the brow.
So amazing for sensitive skin. I buy a bottle for my mom every time she runs out because this is the only cleanser she can use aside from Cerave. She hates creamy, gel cleansers because they don't wash off easily at the sink, so this foaming pump cleanser is just perfect for her. I've grabbed it a few times when I'm too tired to go through the hassle of scrubbing away at my gel cleanser until it finally rinses from my skin and I'm always so surprised by how nice and seamless the rinse is!
This is a cleanser for people who are too lazy to wash their faces at the sink!! I know one of the most uncomfortable things about hunching over a sink to wash your face is trying to splash and splash and splash repeatedly to try and get that thick, creamy cleanser off your skin. Aveeno's foam cleansers are so easy to wash off and come off with just one quick rinse. Really light formula and great for sensitive skin. I don't notice any kind of evening in my skin tone, however.
Apply this after you finish showering and towel dry your hair a bit. It helps your hair dry a little faster so I really recommend applying it at night and allowing your hair to air dry. I have thick oily hair as is, so I was worried that this oil would make my hair too heavy, but that's not the case at all. I have very damaged hair from a series of bleaching (went from black to blonde), but this product has saved me from the clutches of chemical breakage along with my Nexxus Humuctress Conditioner. Once in a while, I'll mix my conditioner and this oil in a bowl and do a hair mask for 10-15 minutes before washing it out. This has become a necessity for my hair care regimen and will be repurchased the instant it even comes close to running low.
Do yourself a favor and get the smaller bottle! This stuff is so hard to use up and I've had it for years now. I usually only add a drop to my moisturizer or serum at night to help boost nutrient delivery deeper into my skin. I've always noticed that my anti-oxidant serums are more potent when used in combination to this because it helps my skin absorb the product more easily. Just a drop into your normal facial routine will definitely do the trick. This is also great to use one dry elbows to help prevent ashy, gray elbows. I just really don't recommend getting the larger sized bottle because a little goes such a long way when it comes to this oil.
Kind of thick in consistency and doesn't really keep my lips moisturized unless it's sitting on them. It works if my lips are dry and cracked because I can just slather some on and let it sit overnight, but once this product is off your lips they'll just get dry and cracked again unless you use another chapstick or lip balm. Basically it'll help heal your lips, but won't keep them healed on its own.
Be prepared for a great deal of stinging! This is a great alternative to sticky band-aids that suffocate the skin on your fingers as it allows the skin that it's applied onto to breathe. I always insisted on using this over band-aids just because I hated worrying about band-aids coming off in the shower or worrying that the skin under the Band-Aid wasn't getting enough air. If you're willing enough to stick out a few seconds of intense stinging, this stuff is a whole lot more convenient once you talk yourself into applying it to your cut and get over the burning.
So convenient! You can just throw it in your bag without worrying about it spraying or leaking. I've kept one of these in my backpack for a year now and it really comes in handy on the tennis court when you go a little too hard on a dive and end up scuffing your knee or elbow. Usually wash it over with some clean water just to make sure it's rinsed out before letting it airdry and applying a spritz or two of this over it. The pain relief helps me keep playing despite the unavoidable stretching/compressing of the skin around the cut.
Our family would always keep one of these things in the medicine cabinet and the bathroom drawer in case of cuts or scratches. Once you clean out your wound with soap and water or with rubbing alcohol, a light layer of this will seal it off from bacteria and dirt while still allowing the abrasion to breath and restore itself. Cuts and scrapes always healed faster when we used Neosporin and it just feels weird not to apply to even a paper cut now. It's been around since my childhood and I trust this brand a lot.
