This is the first razor I’ve ever had that I never felt at risk of cutting myself! I was dubious as to how well it transitions between gliding backwards and forwards, but it does so very well. However, I’m still unsure how effective the razor is when moving forwards (I.e. the non-normal way). There’s still a bit of hair left over, and it’s uneven.
I really had high hopes for this. I've tried cookie dough protein bars in the past and they've always been very grainy and flavorless. Unfortunately this fit right in. But beggars can't be choosers, and it definitely does its job in terms of filling you up. Just don't expect to enjoy it too much when you eat it.
I'm not a brow pencil person by any means (brow pomade 'til I die), but I was happily surprised by this. The tip is thin and doesn't leave a lot of product at once, perfect for making little strokes and natural-looking brows. Not the best product if you like your brows to be more defined, but otherwise excellent.
I've tried a lot of bad eyebrow products, but this one is arguably one of the worst. I used it after putting my makeup on and about to walk out the door just to watch as it began raining chalk on my cheeks and eyes. Because of the powdery-but-not-powder texture, trying to wipe it off resulted in it smearing all over my face. My brows themselves didn't look too much better either. Unnatural and too thick, it kinda reminded me of one of those "What NOT to do" makeup tutorials. The only reason I kept it at 2 stars is because I could see it being helpful for someone with not a lot of time who wanted to quickly thicken their brows. But just remember: do it FIRST and don't use a lot!! I received this product complimentary of Influenster, but my review is my own.
I had my very first migraine while on vacation and didn't have any of my normal pain relievers on me. I bought this to give it a try and it didn't disappoint. Head pain was gone in about 30 minutes and all of the other symptoms became more manageable
This is regarding the NYC- Times Square location. While the hotel itself is beautiful and the location is incredible, they made us feel a sub-par priority because we weren't staying in the most expensive room (not that our room was cheap though). They have a baggage hold for those who can't check in early yet (which is great) but if you need them to hold your bags after check out, it's $4 per item when most other hotels are free. In addition, if you can't check in early but need to use the restroom, sorry, the only bathroom without a key-swipe is in the basement in a back corner with no signs near it. They won't even swipe you in for you. Finally, as we were ready to leave, two members of the housekeeping staff tried to enter our room without a knock or warning. I've never had that happen before. There's usually more organization among the staff to know which rooms are checking out when. The two stars are for the location, cleanliness, and modern rooms. Unfortunately though, most of our experience was not great.
Marriott is always quality. Great and clean rooms, and usually pretty modern. If you go to a more expensive/touristy city, a lot of the nice benefits most hotels offer for free go away unless you upgrade.
United is affordable, and you get what you pay for. The majority of the times I've flown on United the wifi hasn't worked (or you needed to pay for), there was no free in-flight entertainment even on long (4+ hours) flights, and the seats were cramped and uncomfortable. However it's not as bad as others I've heard of, and if you need to get from point A to B cheaply and don't care about frills, it's a good option.
