Review for Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter - 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
This is nice if you want to just throw something on your lips for a light wash of color with quite a bit of hydration. This is relatively inexpensive and can be purchased at any drugstore. Its nice because it is easy and low maintenance; it wears really comfortably on the lips and actually adds hydration to the lips rather than drying them out more. It isn't very long wearing, I think it's because it's so moisturizing and similar to a lip balm it doesn't really stick to the lips it tends to wear off quite quickly - but again it's easy to reapply I don't really even need a mirror to reapply this one. I mainly wish that it had more pigment, I know it's probably low because of how moisturizing it is but I would prefer to have something with more color to it, some of the lighter shades of this have almost no color to them. If you want something with really light color that is moisturizing I think that you would like this, but if you're looking for something that's colorful I would stick to a true lipstick rather than a lipstick lip balm hybrid like this one.

Review for: Conceal And Perfect 2 In 1 Foundation And Concealer - Porcelain more...
I think that the color and coverage of this foundation are both quite nice, I was pleased to find a drugstore foundation pale enough to be a good match for me and it's full coverage, which is a bonus in my book. I purchased it at Target for about $11 or so.  Unfortunately I don't find that this foundation sits well on my skin at all. I find this clings to any dry patches and makes my skin look very dry and flakey, and I tend to have oily skin. I've tried with different types of powders and primers but I've had similar results every time. If you have really oily skin it might work out, but if you have any dry patches I would be sure to steer clear of this one.

Review for Suave® Almond and Shea Butter Lotion - 7 months ago
I received this product complimentary from Influenster. I'm not usually a lotion person I don't like sitting and waiting for lotion to absorb before I can get dressed.

This lotion isn't too thick, it's more of a thin consistency but it isn't too watery. I really like this body lotion though, it feels like it absorbs quite quickly and is really hydrating for your skin. It also doesn't leave your skin feeling or looking greasy so that's definitely a plus on my end! the lotion also smells amazing, I love the almondy smell,  and the scent lasts throughout the day but isn't overwhelming which I personally like about it because I can sometimes be quite sensitive to smells.

And lastly, it's formulated without parabens and dyes, using pure almond and shea butter which is amazing, I always feel so much better about putting things on my skin when I know that it's more on the natural side and isn't full of irritants.

Review for Suave® Almond and Shea Butter Body Wash - 7 months, 1 week ago
I received this product in a voxbox from Influenster and I've been using it since. I really love the scent it smells like almond extract which reminds me of those italian cookies, but it isn't too overpowering. It lathers up really nicely and I like that when you rinse it off it doesn't leave your skin feeling squeaky clean it feels nice and moisturized. I know it uses natural extracts but I'm sure it's not super natural and does have some artificial ingredients in as well - but I'm not completely sure. However, even so I didn't experience any skin irritation which is great for me. I definitely think that I would purchase this in the future it's a great body wash and leaves your skin feeling good and smelling good!

Review for: Iced Latte, Amber Rush, Always Pearly Pink more...
These are a little bit pricey because they are single eyeshadows but they are really  nice eyeshadows. I think that these are superior to a lot of other traditional drugstore brands but now there are a lot more brands that are coming out with great affordable shadows as well, though these ones still are great. They're all shimmery eyeshadows. They're very pigmented and blend beautifully, the shade iced latte makes a gorgeous highlight shade.

Review for: Mac Fix+ Skin Refresher Finishing Mist Full Size 3.4 oz more...
This is a really great spray especially to mist on after you've applied all of your base makeup because it really helps that powder layer melt into your skin so your face looks really seamless. I think that using this really helps makeup look fresh and can fix powder that looks cakey on the skin. It also works really well to spritz on throughout the day just to refresh the makeup. This is also a really great spray to use on your brushes if you want to make sure a metallic shadow really pops because this gives the pigment that extra boost that it needs. This isn't really a setting spray so it isn't meant to keep your makeup on longer so if that's what you're looking for then I would look elsewhere, but this is great for just perfecting your face.

Review for Simple® Cleansing Facial Wipes - 7 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
I don't really have a whole lot that I can say about face wipes but these really are fantastic. They take all of my makeup off, I usually use one or two to remove my makeup before I wash my face because I just find it easier this way as this will remove makeup and then washing my face just ensures it's really clean. These are the only makeup wipes that I've tried that don't irritate my skin. Other brands that I've tried I get extremely watery eyes, itching, redness but these are super gentle even on the eyes and they remove makeup great.
Review for FIRST AID BEAUTY Ultra Repair Cream - 7 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
For anyone who has dry sensitive skin this would be a really great moisturizer. I really like to use this in the winter time because my usually oily skin gets pretty dry in this weather. This cream works very well, it's definitely quite thick and very moisturizing, so it works super well on very dry skin and makes it feel nice and smooth. This is also extremely gentle, there isn't any added scents or colors and I don't get any irritation or redness when I use this which is a problem I often have with skincare products. This really is a great deal for the money as well, it isn't too expensive and you get quite a lot of product - for your face you really only need a small amount because it is so powerful. Also as a bonus, this is a great moisturizer for all over the body and not just the face.

Review for: SAD GIRL, Vintage, Other more...
The colors are really pretty on these lipsticks and they're very pigmented. Some of them can be a tad bit patchy (mostly the deeper, purply colors) and with these kind of colors I don't really think that is a huge problem, it happens with a lot of brands that sell similar colors and it's not hard to work with, you just may have to be a little bit careful to make sure it's even. I think these feel really comfortable on the lips they don't feel very drying. I find that they don't really dry down fully almost, they look matte but there is some transfer with them. The main problem that I really have is that these are hard to touch up; when you try to apply a layer later on in the day because it's faded or you've eaten it just feels much more dry on the lips and it's almost like the product underneath balls up and feels really gritty. It's not a huge problem, but you do have to remove it and then reapply unless you're just touching up a small section which is something to be aware of.
