I was excited to try out Kérastase’s new Blond Absolu line, as I am constantly looking for products that not only make my blonde hair look better, but that actually improves the health of my hair, as well. The Bain Lumière Shampoo made my blonde noticeably brighter & illuminated and has, overall, made my hair look & feel far more hydrated and healthier. I have also noticed that my hair is less frizzy & that I have far less breakage than before, as well.
I typically use a mask in place of a conditioner, as I feel my blonde hair can use all the nourishment it can get. However, most masks do tend to leave my hair looking & feeling weighed down. Luckily, Kérastase’s new Cicaflash Conditioner seems to be the best of both worlds. It leaves my hair feeling incredibly nourished & restored, without ever feeling heavy or weighed down. I have also noticed a significant improvement in my hair’s overall strength & I am noticing far less breakage than before.
Smith & Cult, in my opinion, are one of the best nail polish brands out there. Their formula is incredible, their packaging is ridiculously cute and display-able and their selection of shades is vast. ‘Pillow Pie’, in particular, is one of my favorites from the brand and a constant go-to for me, in general. It is a creamy, powdery pink that delivers opaque coverage with 2 coats and is pretty and girly, yet classic and versatile, year-round.
This is the first Dermalogica product I have ever tried but this moisturizer has definitely made me want to try out more from the brand. I typically have normal to dry skin, however during the winter month’s my skin becomes particularly dry and dehydrated and very few products help. However, immediately after using this product, my skin felt moisturized and replenished and it continues to look and feel softer and healthier.
I use, and love, a lot of Bobbi Brown products, however this is the first eyeshadow palette I’ve tried from the brand and it’s quickly become one of my favorites. I love that it has shades with varying finishes and all the shades have excellent pigmentation and are easy to blend. My only complaint is that, although the packaging is pretty, I can see the fabric part on the top of the case getting quite dirty and dingy overtime. Other than that, I definitely think this is a perfect, everyday palette.
Both the matte and metal shades are extremely pigmented and blended very easily. They were both incredibly long lasting, as well. I also found the shade’s descriptions to be very accurate - Private Jet is a matte warm-toned pink and Sunset is a burnished amber glitter - both shades are gorgeous together, as well as on their own.
I don’t typically care for or wear sparkly or shimmery glosses, however I’ve really been liking this one. It has a clear base but the cool-toned sparkles give it an iridescent, pearly finish that is pretty when layered over another lip color or worn on its own.
Not Your Mother’s Blonde Moment Shampoo is my favorite drugstore purple/toning shampoo. It is a deep, vibrant shade of purple so it really helps to tone and neutralize any of the brassiness that blonde’s are prone to. I also love that it is sulfate-free, extremely inexpensive and smells great!
Sunday Riley is a fairly expensive skincare brand. However, in my opinion, their products have proven to be worth the cost. The Luna Sleeping Night Oil is one of the best skincare products I’ve used, ever. It provides noticeable results and makes my skin look more radiant, plumper and overall healthier.
