I'm a girl who loves social media almost as much as I love San Diego. I am a stay-at-home mom to my toddler daughter. My passions include my dog Atticus, writing, art, architecture, design, travel, Twitter, Pinterest, fashion and beauty- especially nail polish.
I'm in love with my mini. I've had a full size iPad and have the iPhone, and this is my second mini. It's the perfect size for me to type on and browse on. It's a great ereader size and it's so lightweight. I can't stress enough that if you're in the market for a tablet, you should definitely check out the mini. Go to a store and hold, feel and use it. I know the price isn't ideal, but they have a great resale value, are super user-friendly and come in so many configurations that I found a price point I was more than happy with. Did I say I love this thing?
How can you go wrong with Chucks? Really, these are a staple in my wardrobe. I keep a black pair and a neutral (love the dove grey) on hand to go with anything from boyfriend jeans to cropped wideleg trousers and a jacket. I love them with leather for a punk look, but they're just as at home with a J. Crew twin set. Heck, my husband and toddler daughter wear them as well.
This is my all-time favorite cologne and buy it for my husband as a gift. He lives the scent. He first noticed it as a sample pullout in a magazine and immediately liked it. He's not much of a fragrance-wearer, so the fact that he wears it more often than he doesn't says a lot. It has a deep woodsy meets tobacco and leather quality that is extremely masculine and wearable. It is pricier than many colognes, but we've found he doesn't need to spray much on, making the bottle really last.
I have super sensitive skin, rocease and can be prone to breakouts. This cleanser is the one I grab when my skin is the most temperamental. It cleanses well and always leaves my face feeling refreshed and not stripped of all moisture. The scent isn't the best, and although it really doesn't bother me (it's an earthy smell), my husband dislikes it. If it didn't bother him I'd use it exclusively.
This is the real deal, folks! Looking for an eye makeup remover that'll do it all this is it. All it takes is a small amount on a cotton ball to remove all of my most stubborn eye makeup. It's all gone in two swipes and leaves my eyes moisturized. It doesn't tug at my lashes or eyelid and I rarely lose an eyelash with this remover. It is truly a holy grail product for me and is worth the price.
I love a marguerite pizza and this healthy option didn't disappoint. I've tried Amy's brand frozen items before and knew I usually liked the products (especially the Mexican food). I only gave this pizza 4 stars because it is a healthy alternative to pizza and although it tastes good, it's not exactly my first choice concerning flavor and texture. It does, however satisfy that hankering I get for pizza without compromising my desire to eat food that's good for me.
I have a few pairs of shoes through Sole Society. I won't sign up for their monthly plan because one pair I have I love and the other two are meh. I don't like that they use cheap materials. One pair of wedges that look amazing on the site arrived and had cork-looking tape on the wedge. Seriously. It isn't even in one piece- the tape is patched together so you can see lines. I kept them because they are comfy and they were really inexpensive- but I'm careful about where I wear them.
I received a great pair of studded flats in silver for a very reasonable price. A few studs were missing upon arrival, some of which were floating around in the box. I returned them and received the exact same pair back with no repairs.
They eventually gave me a credit, but I wanted those shoes! Oh we'll, there are plenty of other great shoe clubs out there! This one is not for me.
