Hi! I'm a twenty-something trying to carve a niche for myself in the world. I've really gotten into beauty products over the past year, but I also enjoy reading, listening to music, binge-watching shows/movies, playing video games, telling bad jokes then laughing before I can deliver the punchline, and the typical hanging out with friends and family.
I received a free, full-sized sample of this product from CrowdTap for reviewing purposes.
It may not deliver on its promise of leaving your skin matte after application, but it is a good facial sunscreen. It isn't greasy and doesn't clog my pores. It also doesn't make my sensitive skin angry. 4/5
This is a great bronzer... for people who aren't pasty white like me. I think I'd be better off with the lite version. Anywho, this is a very good product; the packaging is fun, it comes with a brush, and the powder itself is high quality. I recommend this product to those of a darker complexion than myself (again, I'm ghost-white).
A perfect palette, whether you're going for a natural look or a smoky eye. The shades are all very pigmented, so a little goes a long way. This has pretty much been my go-to palette ever since I purchased it. It's also a good size to tuck into your purse for travel. 5/5!
I have always had natural dark circles under my eyes. People always comment on them or ask me if I'm tired. This product almost eliminates them! It makes me wonder how I'd look if I purchased the kind with the light concealer in it. The cooling sensation is very soothing, and I look much more awake throughout the day.
Yeah, yeah, I know these don't actually address the larger problem of pore size, but it's just so much *fun* to pull that strip off and see what came out of your pores! It gives me a sort of mental satisfaction that my face is a bit cleaner, albeit temporary. I wish they were more sticky to perhaps pull out more blackheads. Also, sometimes there is residue from the strip left on the skin after removing it.
I received a deluxe sample of this in last November's Ipsy Glam Bag. I really like this mascara. The shape of the wand helps me with the edges of my lashes (because no matter how many times I do it, I never get any better at it). It evenly coats my lashes with no clumping. I will say that it can flake after a long period of wearing it, but it's never been a big problem.
I received a coupon that covered the full cost of one can from Crowdtap for sampling and reviewing purposes!
First off, this is such a fun idea. I tried the vanilla-flavored One Touch Latte in both my coffee and a couple of different teas, and it was really good! It's definitely better than standing in line at a coffee shop in the morning just to get your (probably pricey) latte on. I'm looking forward to trying out the caramel and mocha flavors, and I hope that even more flavors are released in the future (hazelnut, anyone?).
I received this product for free from SampleSource.
I tried the waffle-flavored bar, and it was quite good. It doesn't have a bland or cardboardish taste that plagues so many protein bars. It also packs 12 grams of protein per bar. I definitely recommend it and will be looking for it the next time I shop.
A few weeks ago, I had my hair bleached and dyed for the first time. I ended up with chemical burns on my scalp, which made my scalp psoriasis go nuts as well. I purchased this product because I thought it would be easier to spritz it rather than try and apply an aloe vera gel. After just one (thorough) use of the spray, my scalp was almost completely healed just 24 hours later. I definitely recommend this product, and I plan on using it this summer should I get sunburned!
It worked a teeny tiny bit - the box is definitely exaggerating how much color it can take out. It also left my hair very dry and brittle. Even being generous with some intense moisturizing products didn't help with the dryness. I wouldn't recommend this product.
