One star off because it’s priced high. However, this is the first soap that I felt really cleaned my beauty sponge. A little does go a long way, and it really pulls makeup and grime out of my sponge. I didn’t like the included scrubber pad, because the textured portion seemed to mess with the surface of my sponge, but I did use that as a stand for the sponge to dry on. Will likely purchase again!
I’ve used Jersey Shore Cosmetics chapsticks in both lavender and peppermint. They both feel so soft and silky, and they work great as a general chapstick (or even as a lip primer). They also smell delightful. However, I have problematically scarred/chapped lips... these don’t help with that (almost nothing does), so if you’re looking for something heavy duty, this is not a winner. But for a general chapstick, it’s great.
This dressing mix is easy to make and tastes pretty good. I still prefer the flavor and the convenience of the already made and bottled dressing, but if you're looking for a mix you can customize a bit I think this is a good start!
Maybe this product is great for some people, but honestly I wouldn't risk it if you have ANY history of sensitive skin. A few weeks ago, after using this scrub, my face broke out in tiny white bumps (like surface level, itty bitty acne). They were EVERYWHERE, and rubbing my hands across my face was like rubbing them across carpet -- very textured. It was painful, and it took an entire week to clear up. I couldn't figure out what might have caused it, and I haven't reacted to products before, so I brushed it off as stress but stopped using this scrub just in case. However, I decided to try the scrub again this week. For a few days, everything was fine. Then I started to notice some redness (ignored it, thought maybe it was the change in weather as fall is coming), then my face broke out again today in the tiny white bumps (see pics). After doing further research online, I found numerous reviews saying this product had led to problems for other people. Needless to say, I've trashed the scrub.
Shiner has been a go to since I discovered it. Most bars I've been to carry Shiner Bock, which is simple and smooth. But I also like getting their seasonal beers for home. Ruby Redbird is my all-time favorite, although it can be hard to get ahold of.
Review for: Marshmallow, Petit Four, Mess Around, Prim
Colourpop has REALLY great liquid lips for a REALLY great price, and they almost always have a sale/deal going on. Their Satin Lips are a great in-between for matte lips and regular lipstick. They have pretty good staying power, although they do transfer more than matte liquid lips. But they're so pigmented that they last for a good length of time even if there is some transfer. Also, the texture makes them easy to reapply without messing up the base layer. This product is a total win for me!
Peppermint candy canes would stay on the Christmas tree all season, but these were gone as soon as we put them up! They are just the right amount of sour. They also make good decorations for gingerbread houses.
These are SO good and they remind me of my childhood. The blue on top of the shark is just a little tart, which is complimented by the sweet, marshmallowy white half of the shark. I've also seen them used as fun accents for summer drinks.
These are okay, but the minis don't taste the same as the regular candy. They're also a slightly softer texture, which I don't prefer, but that might make them easier for some people to eat. The idea is cute but it's just not the same flavor.
