I live in a rather rural area and my tap water is usable for cooking and showering and overall safe, but it tastes rather disgusting. I purchase Ice Mountain water bottles almost exclusively for my drinking water and I prefer the taste over most other brands of bottled water and it is fairly cheap. If I live in an area where the water doesn't taste and smell like rotten eggs, I probably won't continue purchasing.
This is the sauce that my mom always used when I was growing up for any Italian dish and for jarred pasta sauce this is what always tastes right to me. Generally, when I'm going to use marinara sauce now I will make my own and I think that it tastes much better, but in a pinch I think it is a decent substitution.
This is the only brand of chicken that I buy anymore. I love that they are free of antibiotics and that you can trace the actual chicken to the farm where they were raised. They do tend to be a lot more expensive than other brands of chicken though.
Fage is my favorite brand of greek yogurt because the texture is nicely thick and creamy. I usually sweeten it up with some honey and fruit and it is not sickeningly sweet like some other brands. I have also used it to accompany many Indian dishes and it has worked perfectly.
These are DELICIOUS! I have eaten hummus on many different vessels and these are by far the best in my opinion. They have a good amount of crunch and they don't have too much salt. If they were a little less expensive I would buy them every time that I made hummus, but, unfortunately, they are a bit more expensive than other brands or than make pita chips out of pita bread.
These are the biscuits that my mom would often use for making biscuits and gravy. Overall, they are acceptable biscuits, but homemade or their crescent rolls are far superior in my opinion. They do have nice flakes, but the flavor is just a little off.
I make popcorn quite a lot in my air pop machine and on the stove top. I often will end up buying the jolly time yellow popcorn because it is better than many other similar products. It does also end up with some unpopped kernels and it has a decent number of hulls as well (but I haven't found a product that doesn't have SOME amount of issue with this as well).
I absolutely loved "The Hobbit." It did a wonderful job of keeping me wondering what kind of adventure they would get into next. Maybe because it was written for children, but I found it be a much more interesting and pleasant read than "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
NARS has undoubtedly become my new favorite go-to brand of lipstick. I find that they last much longer and feel a lot more natural than any of the other lipstick brands that I own, especially the matte ones. They are a high end lipstick and have the price tag to show, which to me is the only downside and not enough of one to keep me from buying many more in the future.
