I don't wear chapstick during the day but what I do instead is layer on a thick layer of this stuff at night and the whole next day, my lips are soft as butter and ready for all the other stuff that I put on top of my lips - lip stains, lipsticks, etc. That being said, at the end of the day I'm not sure I notice a huge difference between when I do that ritual with this product versus Carmex for example, except for the fact that this smells and tastes wayyyyy better.
I am so very disappointed in this $350 purchase of mine... These headphones hurt my ears and give me a headache after 15-30 minutes of wearing them. Not exaggerating! Yes, sound quality is phenomenal and they are beautiful looking with that plush leather and all, but how can I justify spending this much money and having my ears hurt? Sure, get them if you just want a clunky necklace to wear around your neck instead.
I have a fixation with having perfectly manicured red nails. I have been doing it for years. Finally I decided to splurge for the expensive stuff to see how it compares. First of all, it caught my eye while I was rushing around Nordstrom picking up my usual necessities from the beauty counter because it's seriously the most vivid, perfect, classic shade of red. But how does it actually compare to the OPI red I've been using for years in terms of quality and function? It dries much much much faster! I applied 3 coats of it to get the color and opacity just right and if I were to have done 3 coats with my OPI polish, I would have had to sit like a statue for an hour afterwards. This stuff dried within 10 minutes and did not budge. My manicure lasts about 3 days longer with this than the OPI polish. However, the brush is not as smooth for application... I felt like I kept messing up with this more than the OPI brush. Overall I recommend it if you are like me and religiously paint your nails and if you're a fan of classic red nails. Otherwise, it wouldn't justify the hefty $36 price tag for nail polish. Then again... think about how expensive going out for a manicures is and they don't use this quality of product at salons.
Such a great cheek tint/blush that really gives you that natural flushed glow, the kind that you get from a good work out or other endorphin releasing activities! I have always used powder blushes and wanted to give this liquid tint a try since I hate the feeling of layering too many powders on (I use a powder foundation instead of liquid) and I gotta say it's really converted me to cheek tints! My only gripe is that it does take a little longer to manually blend into the skin, so on days when I wake up too late in the morning to fuss with my make up, I still opt to swipe on powder blush instead since it is much quicker.
The ULTIMATE face/body cleanser. Nothing else makes my skin feel this clean. It has replaced all my expensive facial cleansers and scrubs, etc. Although I can't credit this product for eliminating my break outs since I use it in combination with other things to manage my oily skin, however my skin did clear up significantly when I started using it about 5 years ago, and has been like that ever since. I always keep my house stocked with several bottles. Also adore the lavender scent!
This is the mask I save for those special occasions when I want to look like a million bucks and have my face glowing like a lamp... not even kidding. You know those times when you have an event to go to and you're suppose to look a little extra, but you didn't drink your smoothies or chug enough water the day before and your skin just isn't in the mood... well this is the ultimate pick-me-up! No dull skin can survive this mask. But damn... it's expensive. That's the only reason why I'm taking one star off.
Never had earbuds that didn't fall out of my ears or start itching/hurting them after about an hour or so of wear, not these! I'm wearing them for my 10+ hour studying sessions in the library and don't even notice I have them on! They are completely noise-canceling when you put that feature on, and the sound quality... holy cow... you get what you pay for.
I still only use this deodorant after having bought it the very first year it came out (10 years ago it feels like) and I still love it to death. The smell is so subtle and lovely, plus it lasts so long that I can still smell it the day after applying it. But my big gripe is how much they've raised the price... it used to be $13 or so when it first came out and now.... $27?!?!? Yikes.
I hate wearing lipstick/lipgloss... that sticky, pasty feeling on your mouth... that gets rubbed off on things... and gets in the way of eating and drinking... Ugh... I'll never be a lipstick girl. But do I want my lips to look like beautiful ripe cherries from time to time? Hell yes i do. This is the one lip product that I'll buy over and over again. It is like a lip stain, but I've never had a lip stain that worked this well. It just looks so natural and lasts so long (I can go 6 hours without reapplying). The berry color is perfect with my darker asian complexion. Makes me feel like I was born with naturally red lips. No fuss perfection.
