Maybelline's fit me range is incredible! I especially love their fit me liquid concealer. They're creamy, easy to blend, and instantly brightens up the under eye area. The only down side is that there are only 6 shades for their concealers. My skin tone is definitely between shades 20 sand and 25 medium so I use shade 20 to brighten the face. Wish I could use one of their shades to cover up problem areas.
This face mask is a MUST HAVE! Personally I have sensitive skin and so I'm pretty cautious when it comes to face masks. But this one is amazing!! It instantly starts working on the skin, giving it a tingly sensation but not burning. It definitely feels like its working and after you wash it off the skin feels sooo smooth. I love the consistency of the mask and it works wonders! Highly recommend. If you want to try sample sizes the body shop sells little packets of these! The charcoal mask is definitely my most favorite.
Probably my favorite makeup remover wipe to use! Many make up remover wipes tend to pull and irritate my sensitive skin around the eyes. This one easily removes makeup and doesn't leave your face with any strange residue. I especially love how it takes off waterproof eye makeup. Sometimes even after a long day I'll use these wipes to remove my makeup then go straight to bed! Simple, easy, and quick.
Honestly I'm not a fan of this primer mostly because it is not oil-friendly. I need a primer that will control my oil and blur away my pores and this doesn't really do either. It has a silicone finish so this would probably work best with normal-dry skin. My foundation did not stay through out the day and came off around my t-zone. There are other drug store brands with better primers!
Maybe it's because I've never really been a fan of waterproof mascaras but this one is alright. It does stay on your lashes through water impact but it clumps them together and is extremely difficult to remove at the end of the day. I've tried eye make up remover, micellar water, and make up remover wipes and I still have to tug on my eyes. Weirdly it leaves my makeup flakey then eventually comes off. I'm afraid it tugs my lashes off so I will not repurchase.
If you're looking for an essential make up kit for your collection, this is it. Especially for those with oily-skin I find that I use the products in here every time I wear makeup! First of all, the primer potion is the best eyelid primer I've ever used. It's a staple. Even the travel size is perfect for everyday use as a little goes a long way. It helps your eyeshadow stay all day and not crease. The all-nighter setting spray does absolute wonders!! It leaves your makeup with almost a matte finish and doesn't budge through out the day or night. Here's a tip: try using the setting spray as a primer before applying your make up as well.
Definitely one of my favorite concealers from the drugstore! This light weight concealer instantly brightens the under eye area and covers any darkness or bags from late nights. I find that I have to set it with a banana powder to prevent creasing and to make sure it stays put, especially with my oily skin in the summer heat! It surely corrects uneven skin tone and does the job. It's pricier at some stores like CVS and target ($13??) but more affordable elsewhere.
Mac never disappoints when it comes to lip products. I absolutely love their lip products, especially the shade "whirl". There's a reason why you tubers rave about this shade- it's the perfect browny nude! It applies easily, is a creamy formula, and lasts through out the day. You can wear the liner by itself or combine it with Mac's whirl lipstick which I love and highly recommend as well! Lip liner dupes at more affordable prices are Giordana lip liners
LOVE this face powder!! I've always been a huge fan of Palladio's rice paper blotting sheets and I'm so happy they made a face powder of it. It comes with a face pouf which is great for traveling however I prefer to use a powder brush. It applies great, blends out easily, and instantly mattifies the face. Since it is a loose powder it is a bit messy but I don't mind. Since I have oily skin I find that I have to retouch only once or twice through out the day. I love Palladio!
This brush has become the smallest yet one of my most essential brushes I need for my every day make up routine. At only a few dollars this has helped me apply any brow product-from different pomades to brow powders and brow waxes. I absolutely love it! The only downside I found was that after many uses the brush bristles widen, making it harder to be more precise. All you have to do is wash the brush of its product often and it returns to its original shape. At this price and good quality, you can't beat it.
