I bought this swing in 2012 for my first daughter. She loved it and used it for her first 6+ months. Countless swings, many hours of music, and lots of rotations of the mobile later and we store it in the basement for almost 4 years. We got it out about 2 months ago for daughter #2 and it still works perfectly! Unbelievable! This swing is worth every penny!
Although these clips do their job, the plastic clip is giant and my daughter ends up scratching herself on it. It is also too cumbersome to clip onto her clothes because of its size. Also, because she is so young and can't control her hands and arms quite yet, she catches the cord constantly and yanks the pacifier from her mouth. The design is pretty and I do like how when we are in the car and she loses her pacifier, we can follow the fabric and find it quickly.
Initially I didn't want my baby to have anything to do with pacifiers because I wanted to breastfeed and thought they would interfere. My daughter was born a premie and had so much going on that when she got an upset tummy, I made the decision to let her have a pacifier. These were the ones she got and they have been such a big help. She looks silly using them because they cover a lot of her face right now. These calm her down immediately when she is fussing and never interfered with her breastfeeding.
These kids are great. They make it easy when you use the breastmilk before needing to freeze it. Sometimes I will write the date in dry erase marker on the top of the lid, but it doesn't always stay on well. I don't like how they are more difficult to clean and sanitize. You have to make sure it is popped open to wash and dry.
These bags are a time saver! I use them regularly for pump parts, bottles and nipples, and pacifiers. I fill my sink with some hot soapy water and swish everything around first. I give everything a good rinse and pop it into the bag with the 2 oz of water and zap it for 1 min 30. When it's done, I lay everything out on a paper towel to dry before putting away or using again.
I used the Medela Pump in Style purse over 4 years ago with my first daughter. Now with kiddo number 2, I am using the pump yet again (just had to buy new tubes and membranes because I could sanitize the rest). It is amazing everything still works! Plus, with being able to pump both breasts at the same time, I am able to pump faster and don't feel tied down to the pump as much. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is planning on pumping.
I received a sample of this product in my June target beauty box. I was able to get 5 uses out of the sample. This didn't irritate my sensitive skin, but I don't think I would purchase a full size version of this. It worked well enough, but I have others I like better.
I have really dry and itchy skin in the winter months. I stay away from exfoliates during those months so I don't irritate my skin worse. This last winter for 3 months I tried the indulgent coconut milk by St. Ives. This was not moisturizing at all for my skin. I had to use body creams, prescription ointments and coconut oil to help moisturizer my skin after every shower. I don't use hot water either. Very disappointing. I love other St. Ives products, just won't buy this one again.
