Bought some of these from Target the other night to make Buffalo Chicken Salad. What a fun surprise when I bit into one and found a rather large bone sticking out of it. Gross! It completely ruined my dinner. I did give this two stars because the taste was good, they were very crispy like advertised, and it's not like a chicken bone is poison (I mean I'm aware chicken bites do come from chicken). But if you're going to call "boneless", then make sure they actually are boneless. I don't think I could buy this again. I don't like "surprises" in my food.
So, I'm trying to watch my calorie intake and not eat as much junk food as I used to... and lets be perfectly clear, Pop-Tarts are definitely junk food. However, once in a while I do get a craving for Pop-Tarts that can't be denied. When that happens, these are the ones I go for.
They're low-fat, so they're still calorie bombs, but they're not quite as bad as the regular version. Those are 210 calories per Poptart... not per package... for one Poptart. That's outrageous! These will have you about 60 calories per package. These things add up when you're watching what you eat.
Anyway, so in conclusion, these are horrible for you, despite being low-fat, but not as bad as the regular version. They taste pretty much the same as well, so go for these if you're craving sugar packed dessert disguised as breakfast food.
This is the only other diet cola I enjoy apart from Diet Coke. I think of all the diet sodas, this one also tastes the most like the regular full-sugar version. The Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper is especially good, but a little more difficult to find. I'm actually drinking a Diet Dr. Pepper right now as I'm writing this review. It's pretty darn tasty!
I buy so much Diet Coke I feel like I should own shares of the company. Last year I lost a ton of weight, and I credit a lot of that to Diet Coke. I replaced a lot of my conventional snacks with a can of this, and it really helped kill cravings for sweets. In addition to that, I just really really like it. I love the taste and how it's not overly sweet. I love how long it stays fizzy. I love how I can buy a plastic bottle and it won't go flat after a day of being open. I like how they don't use Splenda (I really hate Splenda... it leaves a funky aftertaste). If Diet Coke was a person, I'd consider marrying him.
I love this stuff. It's great on it's own when you want something that has a bit of fizz to it, but you don't want to go for a soda. It's also great to use with mixed drinks and homemade Italian sodas. As a bonus, sparkling water is helpful when getting some stains out of clothing! So, it's always good to keep a couple of bottles around the house.
This is my favorite bottled water. It has electrolytes, so it hydrates like a sport's drink but without the extra calories and artificial dyes and flavors. It also has a refreshing neutral taste (some bottled waters can taste a little "odd"). I almost always keep a bottle of this with me when I'm on the go.
These are amazing for a quick and healthy snack. I love the flavor combination of salt and vinegar, so when I'm really craving something like that, I try to find these almonds. They're a much better alternative to salt and vinegar chips, and the extra protein in almonds will keep you full longer.
Sargento is probably the only brand of pre-shredded cheese that I've found which I like. It's very flavorful, unlike a lot of brands which can be a little bland. The bag is also easy to open and close making it very convenient for quick recipes. The only downside is the flour coating that's added to keep the cheese from sticking together. It's not very heavy, but it does give the cheese and odd texture.
I love this sunscreen. It's very moisturizing without being too greasy like some sunscreens can be. In addition to that, the smell is amazing! It's a very tropical scent that reminds me of being on the beach. It's perfect for wearing everyday. I also have really sensitive skin, so I'm always on the lookout for things that won't irritate me, and I've never had issues with this product.
