All right, first and foremost percent is not my favorite. It’s very earthy in a very strong sense. It’s definitely not the worst smell in the world, and it doesn’t last beyond five or 10 minutes, but it’s definitely noticeable if you’re sensitive to scents. I have to say though that I really enjoy this oil. I’m not sure that I’m using it In the best way to get the benefits of the vitamin C – which is supposed to be one of the greatest oils for your skin – but rather I use it as a mixer for my foundations. My skin has been really dry lately due to the weather and my acne skin care so a drop of this mixed with my foundation is amazing!
This color is really pretty but be aware that it doesn’t come off as green on the lid, but rather more like an antique gold. It’s still very pretty, just different than expected. If you’re new to colourpop, apply this with a finger for best results.
This shadow is decent, don’t get me wrong, but the price is just not right. It’s not crazy expensive- and it does support a (in the scale of the makeup world) smaller woman-owned business- but it’s just not as affordable in price of product or shipping, and not as easily assessable as other brands like colour pop. The shade is also not unique. You can definitely get a similar shade in one of the morphe palettes (like the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette) with a lot more bang for your buck.
This is a simple but effective palette. I know Too Faced has recently re-launched this palette with new packaging, so you can definitely get a more modern look with that while still keeping the reliable nude shades we know and love. If you’re a makeup junkie like myself, you probably won’t need this, because it’s a little safe for experimental makeup users, but if you’re new to makeup or just want something that won’t let you down or be too out there, this is it. Plus the price is decent for a high end palette.
This is okay. The applicator is not discernibly better or worse than any other pen-liner. The color of the ink- however- is the issue. It’s not deep or opaque enough. It’s meant to be black but it’s kind of watery grey- probably because it really is a liquidy liquid.
The scent is lovely; not too feminine or masculine in any way. The power of the deodorant is lasting too. I personally don’t deal with excessive sweating or body odor, but this remains nice, strong, and fragrant for the average day. The price isn’t too high for a natural deodorant either. I’m not a big fan of the texture though. It’s gritty feeling and the grittiness causes buildup on the edge of the tube. The dryness also causes bits to kind of fall away, which feels a little wasteful.
I absolutely love this sponge. It’s my favorite beauty tool in general. It’s the best application tool for foundation, concealer, and even works well for loose powder under the eyes and all over the face.
I really like the grit and texture of this shampoo. The scent is really nice, fresh, and natural. It doesn’t lather well, and it probably takes more shampoo to wash your hair then normal, but I love the experience and cleansing properties of the exfoliating shampoo.
I think this is the same scent as their rose products? Or maybe just their other products. I can’t quite place it but the scent is incredible. The texture is really nice too- think LUSH Big Sea Salt Shampoo but contains a little more salt. I like it for the body but I feel like it works better for the scalp because on my legs it sort of just slipped off.
