I'M A MAJOR YOUTUBE & RESEARCH JUNKIE!!!
My Love for makeup started in 2013 working from home while I was pregnant, and has become a major passion ever since. I've come to a place where I realize the importance of a woman looking and feeling her best, both externally and internally. It's not just about the care of our bodies, or beauty routines, but it's also about our thoughts and actions.
I hope to inspire other women, no matter their age, to take care of all parts of themselves, regardless of size, or skin color.
Thanks for stopping by!
To me...This is one of the best all matte drugstore eyeshadow palettes PERIOD, besides the new elf mad for matte 2. Sonia Kashuk did WELL with this palette. It's more of a neutral matte tone palette. If you're looking for a warm matte tone palette, this is not it. This is great for everyday makeup looks, transitional shades, and smokey. Shoot, all of the above. For $20, it's a steal!
Not sure why this product is not raved about enough! It's great to use to contour your face or give it that bronzed look all depending on your skin tone. It's matte, NO SHIMMER, YES! So it give your a more realistic bronzed/contoured look. It's paraben free and it's only $4.99!!! You can't beat that. It comes in loads of colors for women of color, from warm to dark skins tones. It looks like they're also adding lighter shades, so be on the look out.
I love how pigmented and soft the Bella eyeshadow collection feels and go onto the eyelids. Especially this blue cobalt color! If you're looking for an intense blue with a serious pop of color, without all the extra steps to make it show up, this is it!
I love how natural this foundation looks on the skin. I did a review of this product on my youtube channel a few months back, and I have to say I'm impressed. I was concerned at first when I first used it. It seemed to leave streaks on my face. The trick for me to use this was to really work it into the skin because unlike other foundations, this product does not have silicone in it. That's what most foundations like Maybelline or Loreal have within it that makes it glide and blend will, but not necessarily the best product to be applying to your skin, which is the large organ on your body. It look beautiful and natural. I didn't experience any oxidizing, but oxidizing, if I remember correctly, only occurs due to oils from our skin that causes the foundation to change color/darken. Something to consider working on is the proper priming of your skin before and after application. I hope this helps someone out there seeking to try out this yellow/warm tone foundation collection.
So I was on a search for a mascara that was drugstore but didn't have any parabens. That was not an easy task, but I did find this one by L'Oreal, which I'm totally satisfied with. I'm not sure if it's the brush, the formula or both, but this mascara is the BOMB!!!! It makes my lashes look amazing. My lashes point straight down instead of curling upward. This mascara almost makes it look like I have lashes on! Super impressed!
Honestly, I can't tell the difference in spaghetti or pasta noodles in general, besides price, and as long as they don't stick together when they cook, which is easy to resolve with some olive oil or butter when cooking. Great price.
First off, I bought this set on sale for around $5 at Target. Was second guessing the purchase, but one of the best brushes I have in my collection. I just love their brushes. They don't shed, they pick up product, and they WORK! Period! I love the paddle brush in this set. You can use to set your under eye, contour, add blush and highlight. That's my kind of makeup brush, something I can get a lot of use out of. The blending brush is amazing for your crease, the eyeshadow brush picks up product!!! Thank goodness! The kabuki brush is great for contouring, blush, or doing the buffing technique to get right of all the harsh lines from the powders! Great makeup set.
