Mötley Crüe's albums were a lot like episodes of Married with Children -- they may not be great works of art, but they can be darn entertaining. With Bob Rock serving as producer, the L.A. headbangers savored the joys of trashy, unapologetically decadent fun on Dr. Feelgood -- an album that made no pretense at being anything else. While nothing here is quite as commanding as "Shout at the Devil," "Wild Side," or "Live Wire," such hook-oriented MTV smashes as "Kickstart My Heart," "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)," and the title song are infectious and hard to resist, and helped make this the best-selling Mötley Crüe album ever, as well as providing their first Top Ten singles. Unfortunately, the album would be lead singer Vince Neil's last album with the band for several years, thus marking the end of Mötley Crüe's heyday. Neil's departure -- and pop-metal's decline in popularity during the mid-'90s -- proved to be severe blows to Mötley Crüe, but Dr. Feelgood is still a fi
That said, even at 42, I still enjoy watching this movie around the Halloween season, amongst the Friday the 13th's, slasher flicks, monster movies, and all of the other great horror films. It's light-hearted and reminds me of my childhood, when things were a little simple
I've been having trouble keeping my hair moisturized in my extremely dry home, and it seemed like nothing was working. I am technically "natural" but I 95% of the time I straighten my hair (esp. to help seal in moisture during winter). HOWEVER, coming out of the shower after using this, my curls look so AMAZING-- defined, soft, shiny-- it almost hurts to straighten it all out. I've been using this for a few weeks now and I am very pleased with the results, my scalp feels great. Can not recommend this enough.
(FYI: I wash my hair once a week. I use a gentle cleansing shampoo, rinse, and then use this as a deep conditioner with a cap on while I shower.)
I love It's a Miracle 10 products. I use the moisture shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, and mousse. It leaves your hair soft and silky. The mousse doesn't make your hair feel crunchy or stiff. It's a little expensive. I wish you could use your coupons or points when purchasing, but it's worth every penny......you can't put a price on beauty.
The result after one use is impressive. I have frizzy curls that I wash twice a week. It's tough reducing or eliminating frizz, but day 2 after freshly washing my hair and applying this product, there is a noticeable difference. However, I am going to have to use it at least 3-4 more times to test the consistency of the results. I am big on smells when it comes to hair products and this smells good.
The first thing people need to realize is that Manic Panic needs two things to last a month- heat and (VERY important!) leave it on overnight. The first time I used Manic Panic was when I was trying to get a really rich red from a dull, faded, permanent red. I had shoulder length hair and I had bought one jar of Vampire Red. I read the review but decided that if you can leave it on and it doesn't damage your hair, why not leave it on overnight and see what happens. I applied it thickly (I still had extra left in the jar when I was done), put a cap on, used heat every 30 minutes, long enough to get all of my hair hot, and left it on for a total of about 13 hours. I rinsed it all out, and I was gifted with silky soft, vibrant red hair that lasted for about a month. I mixed the excess Manic Panic with my conditioner. Virgin Snow is more of a toner than a dye because, well, look at the colour. It is extremely light, and light colours don't show up well unless they are used on very, very l
This is a life saver. Of course my child doesn't sit still to condition her hair after the trauma of rinsing out shampoo. My 3 year old sons hair gets dry and tangled so fast that I cut it to shoulder length. Even so, his hair would start to develop little dred locks in the morning from his turning in bed. Brushing them out gently with a bristle brush took half an hour, with him screaming in rage the entire time. After buying this, I was trepidacious about spraying his hair, but she turned to me laughing and said, "smells good!" Once I got his whole head of hair wet with the detangler, the brush went straight through! Even the pre-dred-locks would disappear with three or four swipes of the brush. I don't know what kind of magic potion this is, or what they put in it (angel tears?), but I can say that after my friends saw me brush my boys hair, they stole the other bottles in the pack! :)
